An amazing selection of arts and crafts supplies at prices that are hard to believe. I was able to get everything I needed for a craft night in for less than $10! The folks who were working were super friendly and the vibe of the store was so welcoming. I will certainly be back any time I need to add something to my craft stash. The selection is expansive and it's amazing to know I can pursue my favorite hobbies in an eco-friendly and sustainable way.

What an absolute gem of a shop! Perfect for picking up a random assortment of art supplies to spark creativity, and the prices are truly unbeatable. It's wonderful seeing a business thrive and help keep stuff out of landfills! Next time I'll bring my 4 year old so he can help pick out some project supplies.

Got some goodies for such a great price! There is street parking nearby, and the employees are always so helpful. I've had some good luck finding little treasures from here at such a good price! Vast selection of anything and everything crafty!

Truly a magical place! Fantastically crazy things that you can find here: photos of random people, art boards/matte that would cost you $10+ anywhere else for a buck, 1000s of beads, fabric scraps of unknowable provenance, unnameable objects of brass, wood, or plastic. My favorite treasure from today: this beautiful Dewalt power shop catalog from 1954.

This is a Yelp Community Manager's dream. Also, one of those places I visit so often that I forgot to review it!Artscraps is a surplus/secondhand store from art and crafting junk. I do mean that some of it IS junk, but if you're willing to dig around in the tiny shop, there is also a lot of useful stuff in here!DIY-ers will love the extra cardstock, occasional fancy paper, popsicle sticks in different sizes, excess hardwood floor samples, old posters, sticky green neon paper, big cardboard tubes, old graphic design books, etc., etc., etc...Proceeds go to charity and the prices are more than reasonable (and flexible).Teachers, crafters, indie wedding invitation-makers... this one's is for you!

I had this place bookmarked the minute I moved to the Twin Cities 2 years ago, but I never made it there until recently. I know, procrastination. I was in the Macgroveland-Highland area and decided to stop by. Luckily it was within operating hours too. Artscraps is located right on the corner Of St. Clair and Pascal. There's a cool mosaic on the side of the building and parking is limited to the street only, but it's a residential area so parking isn't an issue. The shop itself is tiny, but packed to the brim with paper, buttons, beads, needles, paint, brushes...practically anything your mind can dream of. The back area of the shop looks like it's reserved for art classes and has artwork hanging on the walls. Actually, there is artwork hanging all over this place. You know when you go to Michaels because you need one foam sphere for your project, but it's only sold in a pack of 3 so you have to purchase 3 or don't get it at all? You don't have to go through that dilemma here. If you need only one of something, just get one! It's wonderful.

More like a 3.5 because they can really work on their customer service but if you're looking for cheap art supplies, this is the spot! I bought calligraphy ink that's originally around eight dollars for fifty cents! Spotted a Winsor & Newton professional watercolor set for a really good price here too. *** Frugal artists, shop here... even if they don't welcome you into the store or ask you if you need help anything. #throwingshade :P

We went to ArtScraps for the very first time for a Birthday Party and it was a wonderful party. My 5 year old had a wonderful time and I look forward to going back to pick up some fun "art scraps" for crafts and projects with my children.

This is the greatest store! I'm in town visiting relatives and wanted to check out the art supplies resale shop. What a great adventure! So many things and such a variety of stock. I had the best time poking around and came away with many treasures - all for $30!!! If you need art supplies but are on a budget, go to this store!
