Art Doyle's Spokes and Pedals

This place is great!It's a super cool shop complete with three resident cats, one of which you're greeted by when you walk in the front door. Staff is very welcoming, genuinely helpful, and took the time to talk me through any questions I had about the work I had done on my old Raleigh bike. I would definitely recommend Art's and I will be back for my future bike needs!

Wow! Fantastic Service! My husband and were ready for an update. Mitch took time to really listen to us and gave us informative, but not pushy suggestions. He told us to take as much time as we wanted to ride the bikes and when it was time to pick them up, he adjusted them down to the smallest detail. I've never had handle grips adjusted before. He explained everything about the bikes in detail. He even walked us to our car to make sure our bike rack ( which we hadn't bought there) was adjusted properly for our bikes. We were encouraged to bring the bikes back in 30 days for minor tune ups and to come back at anytime if we weren't 100% happy with anything. The owner, Art, even came over to thank us for buying our bikes from his store

My 12-yo son is getting serious about mountain biking, and on the advice of the mountain bike club leader, we went to Art's for help. They took the time to show us all the options, allowed us to test ride the different sizes and models, and most importantly, took the time to educate us on the differences and sizing questions. In the end, when we decided on a Trek Marlin 7, we had to order the bike. It arrived and was setup in 2 days, with all the extras installed, and they took extra time to teach my son everything he needed to know. There is no question the team at Art's cared about what we needed, found the perfect bike, and answered every question. Well done!

Very knowledgeable owner/sales staff/mechanics. These guys are some of the best in the business. They don't just sell you a bike, they sell a service. Go there first!

I took my well worn bike in for a tune up and repairs. Although it was a bit tricky, Art and his crew did it right and made it right. My bike is as good as new and I am happy to be on the road again!

Best shop around in my opinion. I am biased, I spent many years working here. I have worked in several other shops also. Great inventory and great staff. The owner, Art lives and breathes bicycles and has been a strong supporter of the community for more than 35 years. I can't say enough good about these folks.

Finally had to lay to rest my Specialized Crossroads (greater than 25 years old) after grinding my bottom bracket into oblivion. Didn't want to spend a lot but knew I was going to walk out of Art's with a new bike. They had two Trek FX2 on racks. All the specs were what I was looking for. Disk brakes and "click" shifters are new to me. Art's staff took their time, talked through the maintenance, tuned it up, allowed me to take a test ride for a few blocks. This is a 2x9 gear set and the range is perfect for my needs. Couple hundred miles so far and I'm completely satisfied with the shifting, stiffness of frame, posture, and braking. Transferred my handlebar mirror, seat-post mounted pack, speed computer and spoke mounted magnet, two water bottle racks, etc. The staff at Art's are great, they engage immediately when you come in and often times will service quick fixes on the spot. Large pro shop. Bought the red one because the family told me to come home with some flash.

Eric and Ben took amazing care of my bike today. I hadn't ridden this bike in 5 years and everything was rusted/corroded. I asked them to upgrade a few parts and replace some maint related items. When all was said and done the bike looks brand new and the bill was significantly less than I expected. They have a new customer for life!!! Totally forgot to mention the shop cats, awesome!!!!

My friend and I stopped by Spokes and Pedals to ask about Electric bikes. Andy was extremely patient and kind and helpful with me and my friend. I would highly recommend this bike store when looking or educating or test riding any bike. Andy was telling us about the Trek Verve 2. It was a beautiful, extraordinary bicycle. My friend and I decided it was just a little above our budget and our needs. But, I cannot recommend this place enough after having a terrible experience at another bike shop. The sales person at Erik's in Vadnais Heights wouldn't give me the time of day. ANDY IS YOUR MAN AT SPOKES AND PEDALS.

I've stopped in here many time over a 12 yr period and have found one thing to be very consistent, customer service! I'm a novice rider with a few bikes. Coming here I never feel judged, they help me find what I need and in the process I come out with a little more knowledge and confidence.
