My favorite tamales in the Twin Cities. The pork tamales are fantastic! The proportion of masa to filling is perfect, and there is a very pleasant "kick" at the end of every bite. There is a South American food and spices market next door that has authentic spices that one might need to cook whatever they want from south and Central America.

This is still my go-to taco joint in MN!I ordered:1 lengua taco1 carne asada taco1 tripa (crispy) taco1 flan1 choco flanThe tacos are street tacos and have a pretty good amount of filling. The flavors and cuts of meat are good too!As for the flan, I didn't like the choco flan as much as the regular flan because the chocolate cake was kind of dry. But, I'll definitely be back for more tacos!

This place stays packed & busy!! I love that for them. I've been here a few times with different people wanting to try it. As someone that only eats chicken for protein I don't really care for the food here. I usually get a torta or tacos. Just not worth the hassle and wait for me. You can order a kiosk. They have tables to dine in but as I said it's usually packed and the tables can get a bit tight. Smaller parking lot, will be hard to find a spot during peak times but never a huge issue. There's a small grocery shop next door to check out while you wait for the food (but check the expiry dates on everything!).

My brother-in-law said this was the joint for solid Mexican. He was right! There is a Mexican Supermercado attached to the restaurant, which we hit after dinner, they have excellent desserts, including flan and various pastries. As for the restaurant, it is bright, beautifully decorated, and spotless! I had no idea it was featured on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives--what a nice surprise! They serve breakfast all day, which is awesome. It is window service for the order. This is not a proper sit-down restaurant, but they have plenty of tables, and no alcohol, FYI. I had the chicken 3 chicken flautas with rice and beans, 'B+' grade. The chatter among our group was that everything was delicious.

I'm starting to figure out that Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives is in the business of getting viewers not really about great food locations. This place is ok. I had the tacos Al pastor just like Guy did. Meh. They were a little dry. The green salsa was very good though. You're better off sticking to your favorite local Mexican place than driving out of your way to try this.

YUM! Was it the best Al pastor in Minnesota? Not sure. This was the first place I've ever tried it. This place was amazing. I don't know what else to say other than you need to try it. Their tacos were full of flavor and I could eat them all day. Satisfied all my cravings and even put me on a tacos kick for weeks.

I came here on recommendation from Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives. Great authentic Mexican cuisine. Excellent customer service. The beef soup is very flavorful, also great meat to veggie ratio. The Carne Asada Torta is the best torta in the Twin Cities. The bread was fresh and thin. Typically the tortas I've had in the Twin Citiesgive you a lot of bread. This was different. I had way more meat than bread and the veggies they used were fresh and tasty. I will be back!!

Excellent taqueria, and busy spot to grab a taco/burrito/torta over lunch. Stopped in yesterday to grab Al Pastor tacos and was pleasantly surprised at the authentic feel of the tacos (two fresh corn tortillas, I suspect chicken marinated in Coca Cola, nice flavor, spice, cilantro/onions, spicy salsa and crema on the side, and a bit messy in a good way). Apparently, this spot is Food Network approved and has an attached market to grab locally sourced fresh ingredients for at home impromptu taco bar :)Highly recommend and will be back

This has been my comfort taco spot for a while not only due to its location but also due to the fact that their lengua and cabeza tacos continue to be excellent after so many years! I have witnessed the same kinds experience quality decreases elsewhere and I am happy about how Andale continues to keep it together.Specifically, my rating is based on my favorite tacos, lengua and cabeza. I am always given a good amount of meat whenever I would order tacos here, and the tacos are still reasonably priced given the amount. There's a good amount of cilantro and onions as well, and the sauces always elevated the flavors. Whenever I have no idea what to eat, I would drop by here for good comfort food.I also enjoy the chicken tamales here because they are filling and have a good amount of chicken meat in the masa hariña. However, honestly speaking, I have barely ordered anything else here, so I think my rating is a bit based on incomplete experiences, but I'd at least like viewers to know what my feelings are!Of course, I will continue to return here because of how much Andale has been able to satisfy my cravings!

True authentic Mexican food! My coworkers and I come here often for lunch, and we are rarely disappointed. The service is quick. The seating is minimal, but if it's warm enough, there is additional seats outside.
