Man I got to admit I had a great time at this American Legion. I got to play a show here this past weekend as a part of the Big Turn Music Festival. Little did I know I would be spending lots of extra time here, cause the ladies behind the bar were fun and so welcoming! Let's just say I was the last one to leave on Friday night! Think your sweet Grandma but your sweet Grandma who probably does shots of Fireball with her friends on weekends! Then on Saturday one of them even humored me by making some shots for my friends and I that the bar I used to work at invented called a, Communion! So great! This place is really nice.. It's older but it's got a cool vibe.. And the bathrooms have recently been updated and are very modern! The back room where the show was, was perfect for a little night of rock n roll! I'd like to raise a glass to the ladies behind the bar for being so welcoming and making this my fave spot of the weekend!

Well as local Friday Fish Fry's go this is very, very good. The Cod is of high quality , and has a superbly flavored, parchment thin batter, that just adds a great crunch to the perfectly cooked slightly sweet Cod! It takes about 20/30 minutes from order to the table!!The Coleslaw and Fry's are equally well prepared, served hot and fresh by a great staff, at the Legion.. $ 7.00/ for a basket of three generous nicely flavored chunks, or add more, for $1.25 / per portion..!Also try the Fried Shrimps, very good as well served with a tangy hot sauce. The Club is very busy on Friday so get there before 5pm, if you don't want an additional 30/40 minute wait for your food..!
