Clean eating, fresh prepared, hidden gem alternative to fast food and over-filling restaurants. The attention to customers and desert and beverage selections are phenomenal.This is a fast walk from the Mayo-Gonda-Charlton building trinity. It's also near a Kahler building on Broadway.I encourage all who see this to stop in and support this business in the time of construction and road detours.

Almadina serves some incredibly delicious, made-to-order Mediterranean food with very generous portions. You can dine-in at their multiple tables (which are also great for large groups) or get a takeout order--business seemed like half/half the night I dropped by. The dining room was spacious and comfortable.I got their Lamb Kabob Plate, which tasted so delicious. The char and seasonings on the lamb were just right, and the kebab was so juicy and flavorful. The salad and rice were also great additions. The food came out quickly, and the staff were very nice throughout.I got some Baklava to-go too, and those desserts alone are worth the trip. They sell them in pre-packaged containers too, so you can go to the restaurant just to pickup some of them to-go!

I swear I meant to take pictures of our food but it was so good that it disappeared immediately. If you're looking for authentic Mediterranean/Middle Eastern fare, this is the spot. The falafel sandwich was absolutely delicious. It's all clearly made fresh and the service was good.As a vegetarian there were some solid options available.

Ordered to go two meals. Only one meal came. Charged for both meals. Food was dry and flavorless. It use to be good when we ate there before. Not going there again.

We ordered from Almadina and had Grub-Hub deliver. Half of our order was cancelled by the restaurant because they ran out of beef for the Shawarma. They didn't notify us of the cancellation until they filled the other half of the order and delivered it. They claimed they notified us through Grub-Hub. Which didn't happen. So half of the people that were part of the order ate while the rest of us watched. Super horrible service!!!We will not be ordering from your restaurant again.

Amazing food & service The flavors were just what I was craving. Delicious. They also sell good mammoul cookies.

I ordered a grilled half chicken platter and side falafel. The platter comes with side saladThe chicken is delicious, well marinated and very tender. The meat slides the bone easily, the salad is okay, the falafel is crispy but not too tasty. The sauce is good, spicy sauce is medium hot levelThe meat is Halal!!!The ambiance is simple and pleasant,The food service is fastThey also have a good variety of baklava and Mediterranean desserts!!!

Super-casual joint for middle-eastern food, mostly for takeout though they do have a few tables for eating in.The menu offers set combinations or a la carte offerings. You can't go wrong either way. It's just a matter of how much you want to eat -- the combo plates are generous.The baba ghanoush was creamy and smoky, just the way it's supposed to be. The ful medames was perfectly cooked and spiced, served as a large portion. The side of rice was fluffy, buttery and lightly salted, being just the right accompaniment to the rest of the food.For an unassuming, casual (almost hole-in-the-wall) restaurant this place outdoes itself. The service is friendly and attentive, making you feel like you're eating at the family kitchen table!

Surprised it took this long but we finally visited Almadina after passing it for the last few years. It was a pleasant visit and definitely nice to have this in Rochester. Ambiance was nice. Loved the decor and traditional music playing in the background. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Ordered:- Lamb & Beef Wrap (3.5/5). The wrap was a bit dry and meats were pretty fresh. It was smaller than others- Chicken Shawarma Plate (4/5)- Veggie Samosa (4/5). Fresh and hot. This was a good choice and a fun take on samosa / sambusa There's a few other dishes I'd like to try so this is on our list for repeat visits!

Incredible food, clean comfortable restaurant, and friendly staff. The hummus and somosas we had to start were perfect - light and fragrant and savory - topped only by the delicious felafel that came next and their light flaky baklava to finish. We'll be back!
