Adam's Gyros

Huge portion... great flavor.... Fast service... authentic... love this restaurant... always a long line at their food truck!

Adam's may not look super flashy from the outside, but as always, it's what's on the inside that counts. And inside this food truck are the best gyro sandwiches this side of the Atlantic.The gyros are massive and stuffed with meat, rather than with filler like at other places. You get the option for traditional gyro meat, chicken, or a half-and-half mixture. I chose the half-and-half for variety, but your experience will be amazing regardless which you choose. And prepare to get a bit messy when eating, since it's hard to bite in without smearing tzatziki on your face - but that's part of the fun!Overall the food was delicious and the value was great, considering how much you get for the price. Definitely a top notch food truck option.

Ordered the Gryo Sandwich and fries today from the food truck in downtown Minneapolis.The fries were good.However the Gryo sandwich could have been better. First, there was way too much meat in the sandwich, just a massive amount that makes it impossible to hold the sandwich. I suppose that is a good value but I'd rather have a dollar shaved off the price and have a manageable sandwich.Secondly, the lettuce and tomatoes were mainly just lettuce - there were only 4 little pieces of tomatoes mixed in - again, cut back on the meat and use the money for tomatoes!Lastly - there was not enough tzatziki sauce!!!!! It seems as if they sparingly mix the sauce in with the lettuce instead of putting a large dollop on top of the sandwich - there was barely any sauce - which is the best part of the sandwich. The pita bread was the thinner type and not tasty at all - I didn't eat any of it due to the massive amount of meat.Not sure I'd go back for this sandwich.

So winter has finally come to an end and what do you know? Minneapolis has a vibrant food truck scene! I have been sampling some of the local trucks that come downtown during lunch but this is the first review I wrote (Pimento is next)! On my first visit, I ordered the gyro sandwich with fries. Boy was I surprised at the size of the sandwich- ridiculously big with all of the fixings spilling out of the top! Some people don't appreciate getting a lot when you weren't expecting it, but I am the exact opposite. I love it when I find a value that I wasn't looking for it and on top of that the food ended up being spectacular. I loved it so much I came back the next day and bought two more - one for my girlfriend and one for me. This will definitely be one of my regular trucks moving forward.

Got my gyro from here at the Food Truck Festival in Anoka today. I'm home now, almost an hour away almost considering driving back out there for another one! I split it with someone else, they are massive! Fries are really good too, the workers were all nice young people and they had a good number system so they knew whose food went to who. If they had restaurants I would so go there all the time! I might stalk this truck around town!!

Holy cow is this a big gyro. And excellent! Amazingly worth it! Hurry to them because there will be a line..: but well worth it!

I've had their gyros several times, including at the Ramsey County Fair and downtown St. Paul. They're always friendly and accommodating. The portion is a decent value and the meat is moist and not too salty.I'll keep coming back!

5 stars!! Delicious and massive. Michael M needs to put his big boy pants on and enjoy the delicacy in front of him. The meat is great and abundant, veggies are crisp and sauce is spot on. Best Gyro in the city!!!

Adam's Gyros doesn't play when it comes to their gyros. They are MASSIVE! Not only are the gyros large but the ingredients are fresh and taste great. They have 3 roasting spits in the truck! That was a pleasant surprise. I haven't tried the other offerings on the menu but I will not miss the next opportunity to eat from this food truck.

The gyros from this food truck are massive in size. Even after eating a good portion of the sandwich, I still had enough meat leftover that could've filled another couple sandwiches! I think they could scale back a bit, but if you like lots of meat, this is definitely the place for you!
