Deck furniture looks great thanks to Whimsical and the paint I got there! What fun, now I need to find something more to paint!

I'd do literally anything to have her back - I have at least five pieces of furniture in my home from there. Each piece still makes me happy every day.

A boutique shop weighted more heavily on home decor, A Whimsical Place does a great job of offering fun, unique gifts, jewelry, decor, and garden items. Surprisingly, I've found prices on most items to be much more reasonable than I'd come to expect after a lifetime of suckling at the teat of Bibelot and Patina.Usually carries lots of cottage-y type furnishings and whatnot, but as of today, November 12, unless you want Christmas decorations, you might want to give this a pass until the new year. Don't get me wrong; they're very nice decorations and very affordable, ranging from embroidered tea towels to garland to crystal ornaments and larger decor, but that's pretty much ALL that was there today. I'll definitely be back, but only when it's no longer a Christmas store.

I wandered in here by chance just before mother's day and I fell in love. It doesn't really grab your attention on the outside but my husband, son, and I were running early for a lunch date to celebrate an early mother's day lunch with my mother and we were pleasantly surprised when we stopped in. This cute little shop is perfect to find beautiful, unique gifts for your mother or grandmother. You have to look around a bit to find the perfect gift and some of the items can be a little pricey but I know where I am going the next time I need a gift for one of my female family members.

So sad...I got there at 10:29 am today on small business Saturday, to find the door locked and the place dark. I hope this was a mishap only and doesn't mean they are going out if business

A Whimsical Place is the first boutique I visited when my husband and I moved here three years ago. It's the first place I go when I need a unique and affordable gift. They also gift wrap! The owner, Sheryl, is always helpful and she's so much fun!You won't be disappointed if you make it a point to visit!

A great shop for unique furniture, frames and household items! I thought prices were very reasonable compared to many of the other boutique shops. I accidently ran across this shop in between meetings. while shopping the owner not only was very helpful but coached me how to restore some deck furniture at our lakehouse. It was as easy as she told me it would be and fun! They offer classes and have paint and products there for you to refinish your own piece of furniture. I have already purchased my next Master-piece to refinish. Worth your time to check this one out!
