4 Mile Restaurant and Bar

Great Service and good. This review covers two Friday night fish fry nights. It is very busy on Friday nights. The fish fry is excellent. They have the standard baked or deep-fried cod, but they also have perch and walleye dinner. The first that I had the perch, was not very many places offer. It was fantastic. On the second night I had a walleye which was a very large portion and delicious. My wife had the card on both nights and found it to be very delicious. Sides include your choice of potato. I had the Hashbrowns both times. There are two small salad bars. Each one has a different type of soup. They're located in different parts of the restaurant. They have a few beers on tap and more local beers in cans. The bourbon old-fashioned is delicious. Although not called a supper club, this place really fits the bill for a classic Wisconsin supper club.Definitely going back. And I'll bring friends are for the quintessential Wisconsin Friday night fish fry.

I was not going to post this then found out a friend had the same experience. I was meeting my sister and brother-in-law for dinner. I got there early so put on my big girl pants and went in alone. I went to bar to get a drink and was totally ignored. They looked at me but would not wait on me. Even the person next to me was surprised I could get no service. There was a bartender and another women I believe to be the owner. I finally sat at a table to wait and put in my name for a table. I asked the owner if they take drink orders at the tables. She told me to get it from the bar but she was too busy now. Mind you this was 4:15 and 3/4's of their tables were empty. The rest of the evening was nice. The perch was wonderful and the salad bar was great. The server was very nice.

Celebrated our wedding anniversary with dinner and drinks. Have not been here for a long time. Seated immediately on a Thursday night. Friendly capable server Alicia. She was considerate in her timing in attending to us. Salad bar was fresh and variety of items. I loved the house dressing. Homemade croutons were greasy. Chicken noodle soup was good. I had baked walleye and hash browns. Tasty. Husband had ribeye with mushrooms and baked potato. Steak done properly, was tender, a bit fatty but price point was decent. We treated ourselves to brandy old fashioned and Bear Hug ice cream drink for dessert. Delish! Restaurant was clean and comfy. They don't take credit/debit which is a bit of a pain but we knew that coming into the place.

Very friendly service. Salad bar had fresh crisp vegetables. Out meals were very tasty.

Thank you for having a salad bar! This place is crazy on Fridays because it's worth the wait. Friday fish fry options- cod and shrimp and includes coleslaw and potato options. Soup is with the salad bar-- this would be an area for improvement. Any consideration for haddock? Or other fish options? Staff is friendly and attentive - even when they are crazy busy.

The place looks like a hole on the wall, and I guess it is. They won't win any awards for decor or ambiance, but the food is EXCELLENT, and the staff was great! We went there specifically for the Walleye, and were not disappointed. It was probably one of the best pieces of fish I had ever eaten. Not a huge menu variety, but everyone enjoyed what they had. Kind of old school, but every meal comes with a soup and salad bar trip, which was great. If you are in the area, make the trip. You will not be disappointed.

Amazing staff, delicious food, great vibes. Well worth a visit if you're in Eau Claire!

Well this review has 2 parts the first I would have given a 5 star rave review staff and food were awesome since the first time we tried, now switch until 3 weeks ago we went and had one of the worst meals I have ever had in a restaurant and now this weekend 05/13/23 again one of the worst experiences we have had in a restaurant bartender had to lookup a 2 ingredient drink which is very basic (LOL) sour and amoretto so combined I'll have to rate a 2 star We do not know what changed but something definitely which is really to badHopefully it will get better
