1/4 rack of pork spare ribs with fries, baked beans and a corn muffin. 10/10. This is the best barbecue in MN!

I have been meaning to try 3rd Street Tavern's brunch for some time now and finally made it today. Started our meal with a loaded bloody and upgraded to the spicy version. It was wonderful! Comes with lots of fixings and a beer chaser. For my meal I ordered the avocado toast and it came with a side of crispy hashbrowns. It was less busy than expected on a Sunday morning so our food came very fast. I will return to try some other items on the brunch menu.

Nice little updated venue in St. Peter. Tons of natural light and a pretty solid atmosphere overall during lunch.Service was pretty good overall. Nothing real over the top, but nothing that came up short either. Food-wise, the burnt ends were not very good (overly hard and chewy) and had me a little worried about what might come next. The fish & chips was also not a great one as the fish was a bit soggy and way too fishy. Luckily, the brisket plate was a very solid dish. Tender meat, the cornbread was great, the beans were AMAZING, and their BBQ sauces all pretty solid.I'd say this is a 3.5 star review overall, but the brisket plate with the sides are worth it. Just be cautious about what else you order.

AMAZING in every way! We were just stopping through on our way back south from Minneapolis. The ambience is casual but nice in a warm, sort of western way. The server was welcoming and had great suggestions. My husband, a Reuben enthusiast, had what he is calling The Best Reuben ever. The corned beef was smoked, which makes it extra good. I had the Cobb salad, which sounds kind of boring, but I added smoked pulled chicken and some of their homemade Bleu cheese dressing. It was so good. The best of all: those fresh cut and perfectly seasoned fries! We don't go that way often, but if we ever do, we will be building in a stop at Third Street Tavern for sure!

We went on a Tuesday at 5pm. Not busy but was asked if we made a reservation. We hadn't but we were celebrating and wanted to try out 3rd's BBQ. We had driven 36 miles to ch3ck it out. The wait staff was nice, particularly Wendy! They need to close her. The menu is smaller but adequate. Our part of 4 ordered the fried pickles which were very good. We had burnt ends, which were done but soft in middle and chewy on ends. Small portion for price. He added a side of beans which were runny...should be thicker. The next order was a brisket club. Very lean on the brisket and at that price, it was not adequate. The 3rd person ordered a Bourbon Chicken sandwich...which the chick2n filet was 1/2 the sz of a normal breast. The side was coleslaw and a healthy portion. The added pickles were tasty. The taste of the sandwich was very good except the sauce which was really sweet. The 4th person ordered the Bourban Chicken but with a side of fries. The fries were soggy and over salted!! Gross. I called the waiter and he offered up a different batch but I declined and we t with the coleslaw. We had drinks which were fine. Our waiter was quick but very busy which was fine too. He was attentive which helps. I didnt take photos but I should have as this was one of the most dismal meals in looks, taste and appeal that we have ever had. Im glad I drove 36 miles one way for that! Not! The sauces they called bbq were pretty dismal too. Im used to Kansas City Bbq and this was small town slap it together at best. They dont have any competition so they have nothing to copare it to. I was hoping for a decent meal and didnt mind paying more than 130.00 for this if it was good. This wasnt. If you want to knownhow good bbq is done, stop in to Q Fanatic in Anoka, Mn. They do Bbq right. We wont be back.

Lone Star Brisket sandwich is delish! The tender and smoky brisket is paired well with the sweetness from the caramelized onions. Hubby enjoyed his Beef & Cheese sandwich; he described it as a nice prime rib sandwich topped with queso. Make sure to try all of the BBQ sauces on the table, they're delicious too. Service was top notch. Abby took great care of us and it looked like she took care of everyone else in the restaurant and out on the patio too. She was so friendly, and made her job look so easy too. Ambiance was wonderful, from the curb appeal when we drove up, to the beautiful mixture of old and new throughout the restaurant. We would gladly come back again next time we're in town. Hopefully I remember to ask for seating in their beautiful patio next time.

This was easily the best meal we have had in a while. Every single thing we ate was fantastic. The bartender recommended the queso, which I would not have ordered, and it was great. I got the chicken sandwich with a side of mac and cheese and both were delicious. My husband got the burger and fries which were also amazing. I would give this place 100 stars!

Was in St. Peter for work and a friend recommended this place, very good! I got the brisket platter with mac n cheese and au gratin potatoes plus a mocktail. Brisket was good but a little too fatty for me, but that is just personal preference. Mac n cheese was good, nothing special and I don't think I could order it for the entree but it was a good side. The star of the meal was the au gratin potatoes, these were so cheesy and delicious with a crispy top. Next time, I think I will get the potatoes and the corn bread as a side. Great place!

The best fried pickles I've had. It's a spear wrapped like an eggroll, and it's an awesome twist on a basic app! Chicken Caesar wrap was super dry and bland. Bacon cheeseburger was good. Hand cut fries were good. Wings are very smoked, had I known I would've gotten something else; tasted like I liked a smoker not a fan. They were plump though and would've been bomb (unsmoked IMO). But you must try the fried pickles!!!

Second time we have been here. Love this place! Found it by accident, and will make a special trip to come back! Had the buttermilk chicken & Ruben sandwiches. They were both to die for! Cute restaurant, service was great. Easy place to bring family and kids! Our server Mandy was informative and super friendly.
