Great service, big portions, clean and inviting dining areas. Drawback, in my opinion, not telling you on the menu that the fish basket is Tilapia. Who serves tilapia in a fish basket in Minnesota? Apparently, the 371 Diner. Yuk.

The food was really tasty. I had a hamburger steak with eggs and hash-browns. My dad had pancakes and eggs The portions were generous and the prices reasonable. I also liked they had Coke products as Pepsi is a no go for me.

On a weekend trip to Nisswa we stopped at this Diner for an early dinner. We weren't sure what the resort options would be and wanted to take advantage of the Diner experience of the old school feel, which is rare and unique.We entered and got promptly greeted and seated. I love breakfast food so knew I wanted to indulge in some buttermilk pancakes and a veggie omelet. My partner chose the patty melt. Everything was solid. The food and service were good. We had so much to eat when our waitress offered us dessert I had to pass and ask for to go packages.I definitely wanted a milkshake but I had no room. Maybe next time I'll just get a milkshake and fulfill that craving.
