1890 Meats

Went back last weekend and got some of their rib eye steaks. They were fabulous and started talking with the owners about slab bacon. They said they if I wanted to buy a slab uncut they could arrange it. I also got to talking about the holidays and they said they have done a thing where they made a bunch of half hams and delivered them right to the business. If I wanted something like that to let them know. The shop was very clean and they had more samples of their smoke sausage sticks which I already love. It's nice having a small town butcher shop so close.

I drove by here a hundred times and never noticed these guys. Then I saw something posted on Facebook. Well I tried it this week. Bought a Ribeye and some burgers. The Ribeye was almost $30. Now that's twice the price I pay at Cub Foods or Walmart. But I can tell you that it was twice the quality. It was totally worth it. I cooked it to Medium Rare and it was the best steak I've ever grilled. EVER. I can't recommend this place enough. Sorry. No more cheap steaks from other places. I will pay premium price to get premium quality. No more feeding the dog a chunk of the steak because it was too stiff and chewy.

Great people! GREAT BEEF STICKS! Worth every penny! We got the Cheddar and Jalapeño Sticks and the Bologna.

Best jerky and beef stix I've ever had. Amazing smoke flavor. The steaks are amazing.
