Staff were incredibly friendly, kind, and helpful. Selection was extensive and I will certainly be coming back.

Great neighborhood liquor store with a large selection! They also host some cool events, like champagne tastings, and post pop-up things on instagram (rare bourbon scavenger hunts, etc.). Staff are all super helpful and prices are reasonable.

Great place for some nice bourbons. I love how 1010 advertises their liquor drops on Facebook, it allows you a chance to score some hard to find bourbons. However, you better be quick about getting down there, the stuff goes quick. They also do a raffle based on how much you spend.

Love love love this little place! Lucky for me (not for my wallet), it's right down the street from my place. The selection of wine and beer are both exceptional, and the owner and employees are knowledgeable. They do weekly free wine tastings which are really fun. They also have a free parking garage attached! So great to support a local shop, especially when they're awesome. Sidenote: the owner Jack is a bit crotchety, as other reviews have mentioned. But he can definitely take what he gives, so dish him back a little sass - it's all in good fun.

For anyone already collecting whiskey and living in or near the Twin Cities, you definitely already know about 1010. They have very knowledgeable ownership for whiskey, have a great selection, and get good, rare bottles in when they hit the area. They also consistently do some of the best private barrel picks of any liquor store in Minnesota.

I have definitely taken it for granted that this place is right down the road from me. They have an excellent craft beer section, with an extensive stock of local MN beers as well as others. While stocking up for the holidays recently, we wandered in here and must have spent at least 30 minutes in here deciding which goodies we wanted to take home from their awesome selection. I only wish I had bothered to go in sooner! The staff is always willing to help, and the store is well organized. They have a great wine selection as well.

How is that I've passed this place over a hundred times and never knew it existed? Somehow, it happened to me, as I discovered this month. Had I known about it beforehand, I would have walked in there a long time ago. This is a delightful place to get myself some alcohol. They have everything I like and need in a small but spacious place. It's simple, which is good because I don't like liquor stores that are too flashy or extravagent. I like that I get to find what I need, and I'm out the door. This means I don't have to worry about being parked along the street for too long.The only drawback is that customer service is lacking from some people. Some of them are not that friendly and seem to want to only get me out the door. Even though that's what I want to do, I don't want to make it known that the employees want me to do that. Besides that, the rest of the store is great. The selection is good for if I ever want to try something different. It's convenient too. As long as I overlook the swift-not-in-a-good-way service that I get from some people, I'll be back.

I love this store. The selection is fantastic whether you are looking for wine, beer, or spirits. What really makes 1010 fantastic is the owner and his wine recommendations. He respects your price point, respects your taste and consistently recommends absolute winners. He has a sardonic and somewhat dry sense of humor -- which I appreciate. This is the absolute best liquor store in the neighborhood and likely this mitre part of Minneapolis. It is an under appreciated gem.

My 'Go To' source for wine and fine spirits! Jack and his crew are top notch, expert in their field, and exceptional at working with the customer, not just selling you something. I have learned more about wine from Jack than anyone else. Add to their knowledge, superior service and attention to detail and you have the absolute best in the Twin Cities!Cheers!
