Saigon Streets

I ordered food online on Christmas Day while at Amtrak waiting for a train back to Portland. I knew that many restaurants were closed and I just assumed those taking mobile orders would be open. My assumption was wrong and they were indeed closed on Christmas Day. I called them requesting a refund today and they denied it. They told me to return for my Banh Mi. I'm not returning from Portland to pick up some Banh Mi. It's fine - I don't mind pursuing a charge back for food I didn't receive.Update: Business owner provided me a refund. Thank you.

Located in the food court of ID uwajimaya! Seating available as the food court allows, but I prefer to get mine to go and walk to the nearby park spaces :)Affordable and flavorful bahn mi, locally owned! Hot tip: get a side of peanut sauce and dip your sandwich, sauce comes warm and it just hits on a hard day. I've also had the spring rolls and pho, all great! I love the staff, so sweet.They can do big orders too! We had them for a work event and just called in the 25 sandwiches a week+ out and they got it PERFECT!! Sandwiches were labeled for the different meat preferences. We will absolutely order from them again!

Great place in a food court in Seattle's International District. Service was fast and the lady behind the counter was very nice. I got the chicken with rice noodles and a spring roll. The food was not overly greasy and very flavorful. The portion size was large too for one person and the price was very affordable. Overall, definitely recommend grabbing lunch here.

Really good and flavorful bahn mi! I had the grilled pork and it was everything I wanted in a bahn mi. Price was good and I could have gotten another one. Counter shop on the uwajimiya food court, definitely a casual vibe. Service was good and quick! Hope this shop sticks around! If you want water, they'll give you a cup to fill up at the water fountain.

Excellent grilled pork banh mi here. Seasoning was perfect and the sandwich was loaded with pork and delicious pickled veggies. The bread was better than normal.Ordered and received my freshly built banh mi within a few minutes. Very efficient shop. Table availability inside the food court can be limited during busy times.

We came to try a banh mi and it was ok. They are located in the food court of uwajimaya. The ordering was smooth and it was a fast pick up. The banh mi was a little too crispy that it can hurt the roof of your mouth. Im not sure if they have other vegetarian options but I was surprised to find my tofu sandwich filled with tofu mixed with pork skins shreds that you get in a Vietnamese rice dish. however, the owner clarified that it was the vegetarian type. Another thing was that it was very salty. I was relieved when I found that cucumber to help balance it out. The filling was a life saver but I needed more. Overall, it was ok.

Decided to pop into the food hall again, and picked Saigon Streets this time. It was delicious! I was in a hurry to catch my train, and thankfully the service was quick. I got the Chicken Curry Banh Mi, and for the price it's a solid, satisfying sandwich. The curry flavor pairs well with the veggies and the pop of the jalapeño. The food hall itself didn't have many places to sit since it was so busy, but overall ambiance is solid for a pick up and go restaurant. Would definitely get again.

The peanut sauce is ALWAYS warmed up. That makes the spring rolls that much better. The spring rolls always taste fresh and so does the pork banh mi. I order here for lunch almost everyday now.

Saigon Streets is located inside the Uwajimaya food court in the ID. This spot is located near my work and is a go to for banh mi's. On this visit, I ordered 3 chicken banh mi's and 3 Vietnamese iced coffees to take back to work. I was gone for a bit and when I came back, Paula put the finishing touches on the iced coffees by adding the ice and the foam. The banh mi's were solid, good mayo to pâté ratio and reasonably priced. The baguettes are from Thanh Son Tofu & Bakery. The coffee was smooth tasting with the right amount of sweetness.They can get busy during lunchtime, so I would recommend ordering online to avoid the wait. Often times I will order in person and do a little shopping in between.Service was very friendly and helpful. Paula takes pride in making her coffee drinks.Will plan to order a side of peanut sauce for dipping next time, as others have suggested.

Got the grilled pork banh mi and wow it was so good!! This is what I order at any banh mi place and this has been one of my surprise favorites in the seattle area. Who would have thought?! Will 100% be coming here again. We also got the shrimp spring rolls which were huge and the sauce was good. They were okay, not mind blowing but refreshing and got the job done.The service was great too! Seems to be a friendly family run place. Our food was ready quickly.
