I have been meaning to try Saigon Chicken House for a hot minute now & today I was finally able to see what the hype was about!I tried one of their signature dishes, bó nè, which is beef, sunny side up egg, jalapeno, and onions on a sizzling hot plate with some pâté + BUTTER (omg!). I paired this meal with a limeade because lately I have been absolutely OBSESSED with limeade (if you like lemonade, you need to try if you haven't !)The limeade here is perfect, not too sweet & not sour. Fries and a baguette come with an order of bó nè to dip. Taste: It was SO GOOD! Very delicious comfort meal, perfect for brunch. This dish comes in small or large size, and also an XL size too I believe. The pâtè with the beef and runny egg was chef's kiss. AND with the baguette too?? YES. So glad I was finally around in the area to try Saigon Chicken House. I will definitely be back soon to get bó nè and try some of their other dishes. Highly recommend if you're in the Dorchester/Fields Corner area!!!

As the place has been around along time now in the former Pho so 1 location in dorchester's fields corner.Of course the lady hasn't tried their signature Bo Ne sizzling plate yet so had to try! Onions jalepenos beef and pate with a sunny side up egg! Dig in with the bread and. Fries!Their chicken dishes are usually really good too so if you have the appetite, try some salt pepper chicken and rice dishes etc. they also have traditional Viet dishes so don't fret of those in your group don't eat beef or chicken. Many options. Service was always good for me the ladies working are always sweet and quick. The space is clean, bathrooms for patrons only and has classic Vietnamese music playing for the ambiance.Always a pleasure dining here.

More of a 4.5!I used to come here a lot when I was in middle and high school when it was something else- after new ownership and the rebrand, I tried it again and it was okay, but recently I came back after craving their Bo Ne (Napoleon Beef aka Vietnamese steak and eggs) and wow was I kinda shocked. We order different shareable dishes amongst a group of 4 and we all had the same thoughts- food was a lot better than my first time after their rebrand. Not only that, but the service is amazing and above the expectations of Vietnamese restaurants. Our server asked if we were sharing certain dishes so she could bring our proper dish wars and utensils, and she was always on top of it with refilling our tea and making sure we had every thing we need. It's spacious with seats enough to fit small groups, so I'd recommend going with a few people so you can try different things!I recommend: Bó NèA sizzling hot plate of marinated beef, pâté, egg, and garnishes. You eat it with a baguette and it's just wow It comes with crinkle cut fries (store bought but like still good :p). Ốc Len Xào DừaAKA sea snails with coconut milk. Quite literally one of the Viet dishes you have to try the coconut milk is too good. Don't be afraid to really suck on the snail Bắp XàoSautéed with butter and dried shrimp (for flavor and a Viet thing), what could be better?? *fyi isn't too sweet because Vietnamese corn isn't that sweet!Wash it down with some of the limeade and you're in for a good meal! Also not sure the full name but we also got this cheesy garlicky snails and it was 100/10

Location: not in the best location... I was looking forward to visit Little Saigon since we're from out of state but it's not the best place. Seems a bit stretchy and scary around walking around.FOOD: overall it was DELICIOUS A3. Cánh Gà Chiên Nước MắmFried Chicken Wing w/Fish SauceB6. Cơm Chiên Gà Xối Mở - my son loved it. Went to the restaurant in a whim since I was in the area and probably one of the best decisions I made. I tired their Bo Ne (Vietnamese sizzling steak and eggs), which is the first time ever trying this dish and it did not disappoint. The dish came with a baguette and fries on the side and packed with so much flavor. Also had the Pho Tai with the thin slicked beef. (I was so glad it came with the option for a smaller size because this meal was so filling). The Pho was pretty good, could taste the flavor of the beef and onions in the soup that was not watered down or super salty like other Pho restaurants. I also saw a lot of Vietnamese dining in and carrying out so I'm pretty confident in its authenticity in Vietnamese cuisine. Seems like a great place to hang out with friends will a chill vibe. Also has a tremendous menu so plenty of things to try. But for the Bo Ne itself would definitely recommend.

Seriously has to be the best Vietnamese food I've had since Vietnam itself and my mother. It's taken me forever to find a really good Vietnamese spot. Came across this one and I'm soooo glad I did. Pho Ga - 11/10. I've never had pho like this before, normally I'm very traditional, beef pho "dac biet" which normally means everything in it. But this chicken pho hits different. The broth is so savory, aromatic, and the chicken has this unique sweetness to it. Best of all. You can choose white meat, dark, or mixed (which was a plus for my gf since she's serious about white meat). Comes with dipping sauce for your chicken! As a rule, I don't order pho at non-pho places. But this place is going to be the best choice for pho also. Special Clay Pot Rice- 10/10: they don't describe what's on it in the menu so here it is: shrimp, calamari, crab, fish eggs, quail egg, carrots, broccoli, celery, all slathered in this amazing sauce. The clay pot comes out literally overflowing. The rice is super crispy, NOT burnt. Also came with a side soup of their special chicken soup which was a nice surprise! Egg rolls/ Cha Gio- 10/10: came with pickled veggies and lettuce which was a very nice plus that most places don't do. It's literally how I'd eat egg rolls at home. And of course dipping sauce. Vietnamese Iced Coffee - 10/10. FULL cup of it. So creamy. Beats a lot of other local cafes that charge more for it. Service was very pleasant, speak English, but definitely Vietnamese family owned. They're happy to make recommendations as well. Everything is very clean, open, plenty of seating for large groups. Portions were huge, we had plenty to take home. Can't wait to come here again to be able to try my other viet favorites. I'm excited to take my parents here when they visit someday. If you're looking for Vietnamese, def come here to enjoy the most authentic.

Any chicken dishes here is spot on, very juicy and tender. I think they are known for their chicken rice dish, and Bo Ne. I always got these two dishes when I am here. Don't order seafood dishes from here tho, like oc len xao dua. Not fresh, very little meat, and over priced. Staffs here are supper nice, and willing to help you with whatever you need, but some of them have hard time listening to the order request, so just be patient, please.

The bo ne is super popular here and I can understand why! I can't say no to a hot, sizzling plate of tender beef, rich and savory pate, and creamy fried eggs. Served with both bread and fries for dipping, this is amazing for enjoying as an entree alone or for sharing with friends! For 4 of us we each ordered our own entrees and split the XL bo ne. We were all stuffed by the end. I ordered a pho tai gau and was a little disappointed by the lack of flavor in the broth. Another person at my table ordered a rice dish which came with a side of chicken broth. I regretted getting a beef-based pho because the chicken broth was the most flavorful chicken broth I've ever had in my life! It would have been really good in pho. The meat portion in the pho was good but not super generous. Unless you are craving beef pho, I wouldn't necessarily recommend it (especially since there are much better options on the menu).

Came here on the whim and tried the napoleon beef (Bo ne) and it's quite a different experience. The beef is sliced thin so don't expect a thick cut or even chunks of beef cube like the Bo loc luc. The beef I got taste good but it did have some veins which made it but chewy. I got rice instead of bread. Hint: don't forget to butter up the beef if you like the buttery flavor of steak.
