Sahara is in a small strip mall on North Point. It took over the old House of Hummus spot. I've been here a few times, and the food is always great. I especially love the chicken shawarma and the falafel. The pita, Greek salad, and hummus are also worth checking out. The owners are super nice and will help you if you need guidance.

One of the best shawarma places in alpharetta. This is where the old house of hummus was off of northpoint pkwy. They still do a ton of gluten free including pita. The falafel was outstanding. The salad dressing is unreal and very home made!The lady who owns it is so nice and kind and takes great care of everyone. The food is just awesome. Don't miss the braised lamb!

Great food and the owner is obviously passionate about her business. The recipes are delicious and compliment each other well. I love the chicken, salad, falafel etc. it's one of my go to quick eats.

Was welcomed when I came in the door by a nice young lady. Then she went through the menu and explained/recommend what I should order. I settled on the combo gyro with the garlic sauce based on the young lady's recommendation and wow it was amazing. My wife got the shawarma chicken meal and really enjoyed it as well. She was a big fan of the fries. The food was really good and I felt valued as a customer which is nonexistent these days. We will definitely be back!

Amazing food!! I have celiac and they have gluten free pita! Their chicken shawarma pita is amazing!!! Staff is wonderful! Highly recommend them!

The food is always great! The women who runs it is always very positive and fun to talk to. The young people she hires are always very friendly and competent. I always love it when I decide to pick something up to have at home.

Favorite restaurant in the area. Love the location as well as the food. Not sure what to order ? The staff has great recommendations as well as the service. Perfect for any occasion. A date or just to get away from work.

Ordered take-out this evening 1st thing --The owner is extremely pleasant. 2nd thing -- Inside is really clean and the dining area is comfortable. Now onto the food! I ordered (2) Chicken Shawarma plates and (1) Chicken and Gyro Combo plate. The portions are huge. Everything was cooked to order. Great presentation and OMG the sauces rock! My fam and I tried the hot sauce, house garlic sauce, & tzatziki sauce. We are completely sold on the sauces... the hot sauce is a must try on the chicken. We will definitely return and support this local business!!

We decided to try this new restaurant which took the place of the hummus house. We were looking at the menu which was posted on the wall and the very pleasant lady behind the counter help explain the menu, we decided on a couple plates. The place was empty except for another guest, looks like their main business is to go or lunch time. Our food was very good, I was not expecting something this quality. I only gave 4 stars instead of 5 was due to the price, think its was just a bit overpriced. I can go to a couple of nearby places for a better bargain. There is a good bit of competition in the area for Mediterranean food.
