Safeway

I've been coming to this Safeway for 9 years now! Wow! It's not far from where I live and the employees are always friendly and helpful. They have some brands I don't see elsewhere so that's helpful. The fruit is always fresh My dealings today took me over to the bakery section as they have slices wrapped to go and various goodies I love to ogle. I was greeted by Danielle with a smile and ordered a cake today for pickup later this week. The store is always well organized and well stocked and I highly recommend shopping there. Easy in and out most days!

The pharmacy here is exceptionally rude in every interaction despite asking simple questions. I've tried multiple times to give this location the benefit of the doubt because overall I do like safeway, but the pharmacy crew here takes horrible customer service to a new level. I would definitely never recommended visiting this Safeway location, nasty attitudes for someone just trying to give them continued business and get my medicine from them. Costco is much better!

Easily one of most unpleasant experiences I've had in a long time at a grocery store. I went to pick up some fresh chicken for my family's dinner and the 'butcher' was unbelievably rude, literally shouting "What do you want?" at me from outside of the counter from about ten feet. Then, once he packaged up my selection, he tossed it on the counter and walked away bruskly. Once I got home, the meat smelled terrible, to the point where I'm doubtful anything in that case had been cleaned or updated in any meaningful way for days; we couldn't even eat it, I was honestly shocked.In fact, nearly every other employee I interacted with also had an attitude, even the man who appeared to be the manager just stared with a scowl when I made eye contact. The only employees who were remotely pleasant were the young men who helped me at the deli counter and at check out respectively. This used to be an incredibly nice store, now it seems like employee morale and product quality have taken a significant swan dive. What happened to the quality products and good customer service I'd come to expect from Safeway? Exceedingly disappointing. At this rate, I may as well just bite the bullet and spend a bit more at the Sprouts across the street; then l can at least count on the meat being reasonably fresh.

Worst customer service cashier ever. Not only at the grocery end but also the Starbucks. The cashier wanted to fight and argue over a paper bags.

Johnny and Cindy are wonderful people!! They make the Starbucks area such a great place to start your day! They greet you as you walk in and always have the best attitude. And the coffee is always consistent which makes me a return customer. Thank you guys!!

I come in very often. Everyone is so friendly and kind. I always have trouble getting my coupons clipped but Cat always helps me load then. She is very kind and helpful every time. Sad that I can't say that about customer service lady Treva she needs an attitude adjustment.

Bought an Amazon gift card from them. Got home and found it had been tampered with. Safeway is giving me the run around. "That persons not here" "come back tomorrow between 6am and 2pm." "We can't do anything... you need to call this number to get a ticket opened" "we have to call Amazon and wait to hear what they say".So I'm out $150 till this is resolved.

This deli department is terrible. The employee called Sean (salt and pepper hair, short, rude) was cracking sexual jokes with the other employee called Nate (large, tall, black hair) and generally ignoring me as I waited for 20 mins. When they finally saw me, Sean said "what do you want" in a curt tone of voice and messily scooped my tuna salad. It was all over the outside of the cup! The whole atmosphere was hostile and gross. Nothing looked clean, not even the workers. The front end was much better. My checkout clerk (Karol or carol, short spiky grey hair) was a delight to talk too and the courtesy clerk (Keria or kyia, short, black hair, quiet) helped me too my car and was very kind.

Worse service at the deli department. Employees standing around and ignore you when waiting for service. When requesting hot food, the employee acted like you were imposing on their time.

My sister works here. So I shop here because of her. It's a really nice store. It's in a classy and upscale area and the store itself is big and has a good selection of things. Better than the one on 35th and Bell.
