Well it took us years to finally dine at Safari. Now we are eating there every week! Last night I ate the Prime Rib sandwich with au jus and a side of red mashed potatoes. It was delicious. I have to admit it is better than Chop House. Safari also offers a pizza, Stromboli and Calzone menu. They have a 800 degree stone oven. Everything is made from scratch. Happy Hours everyday 3 to 6 PM with: Wine, Cocktail and Beer special pricing. Service is fast and efficient.Ambiance is abundant with dining areas which includes an enclosed patio area. The bar area has flat screens and it has the feel of a hometown local neighborhood establishment. Oh, I forgot the hot soft dinner rolls. Believe Cyndi and I we love it!Ciao Bella! Ronnie

We came here for the first time tonight and were so impressed. We got the steak for 2 meal which came with 2 salads and 2 sides. The amazing server Johnna P brought out some amazing bread with our salads. The roll is baked as normal but then deep fried a little. It is served with honey butter...chef's kiss bread! The salads were both fresh and tasty. Then for the steaks they don't mess around as we each got 12 ounce perfectly cooked and seasoned steaks. The service, food, and environment were all exceptional. Johnna was for sure a 5 star service and we noticed all the employees seemed happy and enjoyed working there. Then before leaving we got to meet the owner Ross. He was amazing to talk to and so happy to eat local. Lastly the price for two 12 Oz steaks, 2 salads, and 2 sides was only $50. Hard to beat with the quality of food and overall restaurant experience. We will be back!

My server is Mollie. We came in around 5ish. There was no waiting when we came but it's filling up fast! We ordered the fried mushrooms for starters and blackened catfish and Rainforest salad with grilled chicken. I like the atmosphere because even though it's crowed it doesn't feel like it is. Really roomy and not too loud. Mollie is friendly, patient and, has a smile every time she came to our table. The dinner rolls are fresh, Hot, and delicious. Well I checked out the bathroom too. (It was clean and stocked). I would recommend that you take a visit if you haven't. One of the better restaurants in Hendersonville!

I've eaten lunch at this restaurant many times, and except for my very first visit there, which was over 5 years ago, I've never had a meal that wasn't good. One that is outstanding I had today. Their Bison Burger is one of the best I've ever had. Definitely better than Ted's Montana Grill. And unlike Ted's, who, for some reason thinks medium rare is well done, it's prepared perfectly. A couple of times ago when I ordered it, I really wasn't wanting fries, so I had their chili as a side. Made from scratch in the restaurant, and absolutely outstanding. Love the decor, and service is always good. Server Jackie is actually phenomenal. We'll be back, and often.

My first visit was incredibly disappointing. So much so, I doubt I'll go back. The restaurant is nice. The service is slow. Our server wasn't able to multi task it seemed and would be gone for long periods of time. We ordered the salmon and French dip with sweet potato fries. My sandwich was "okay". I thought it was kinda small. My fries were burnt. ) As a former server myself, I would not have brought these fries to the table.) I pointed to the fries and said "these are burned". She just kinda looked at me and walked away. She did eventually did bring a new basket of fries though, begrudgingly. My fella said his tea tasted "fishy" ( this was before the food came out) I agreed it had a weird taste. She still charged us $3.00 for the tea he couldn't drink and was replaced with water. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because the salmon was the only 1/2 way decent thing about the visit; even though, the rice was undercooked . For the prices, I expected a little more. I'd rather go down the street to Chop house for better service and much better food at the same price.

This was my 1st trip to Safari. Wow, what a great experience. We were with two other couples and our meals were incredible. Our service from Johnna(sp) was fantastic. She was funny, attentive and very personable. I can't wait to go back!

Visited Safari's this week for happy hour, we had a very good experience as we sat at the bar we had a couple of Apps and and couple glasses of wine. The chees sticks are made fresh in house a super cheesy and creamy!! we also had the buffalo wings they were large wing sections tossed in house made sauce. The bartender took great care of us making sure we had everything we needed. the ambience was also very good not too noisy and enjoyable. Great food and beverage options available for happy I am sure we will return. plenty of parking so no need to worry about that. Sorry no pics we were hungry so it was all gone before I could take

Locally owned. A non-chain restaurant which is very welcome in this area. There's some things they do well and some they don't. However, overall food is very good. Some things don't make good sense. For example spaghetti on the menu is $16 and comes with a salad but Wednesday nights, spaghetti is on "special" and the price is $13 however it doesn't come with a salad. So you're essentially getting less and paying less so how is that a special? Their standard bread is some sort of fried bread that I've grown tired of after a couple visits. Ambience is nice. Service can be spotty.

Safari's hits the mark! Hand cut steaks, bountiful salads and a great variety of options to satisfy. I must try the Brick oven pizza, I hear great things! Adrianna was our server and she was most attentive! We even received a visit from the owner Ross! The atmosphere is quite special, very safari lol. Highly recommended
