Bewilderingly hit-and-miss. The appetizers (mushroom sweetbread, gnocchi) were breathtakingly phenomenal, perfectly designed and perfectly implemented, but then the entrees were weirdly disappointing. The scallops were well cooked but bland, and the unexciting risotto they come with did not feel like it justified the price tag. The jerk chicken was not particularly notable. The tiramisu looked great but that's unfortunately the nicest thing I have to say about it; it was decent with the inexplicable extra granulated sugar scraped off the top. On the drinks front... The modified old fashioned on the menu was exceptional up front but becomes over-spiced if you take too long to drink it, which I don't love for a relaxed dinner date. The selection of dessert drinks and coffees, however, was unusually good - love a place that'll cheerfully indulge my husband's desire for a post-dinner espresso! And the service was lovely throughout.Overall so close to perfect. At 3/4ths the price point I would have been uncomplicatedly thrilled, but at $100+/person after tip the standard is high, you know? This would almost certainly be a standout place to drop by for a drink and a snack at the bar, but the full sit down experience wasn't quite there.

My review is for the lady I was trying to make a reservation with over the phone a few weeks ago. I could tell she was older, and kept taking long winded breaths, seemed irritated I was asking questions about dates/times. I was so put off by her behavior I decided not to make a reservation.If you're so pissed off answering phones and talking to the general public about tables at a restaurant, get a new job.

Nice ambience, quick and professional service.Salty clam linguine dish. Told waiter and he just took it away and didn't ask if he could remedy the situation. Got the check and saw we were charged for splitting the beet salad. That the kids' meals were charged to be split also when in reality they both ordered a dish each but just shared all the items. Will not be returning. Not up to my standard in terms of food quality and transparency in charges.

Great service and ambiance.But the food just sucks. I have yet to try one thing in the menu that's good. Not even the pizza is good. Everything is bland and boring. I have no idea what keeps this place open.

Food was amazing! Celebrated our daughter's Birthday. Started with the Lemon drop and Pinot Grigio with Crispy Calamari, Gnudi, Phyllo Wrapped Brie. For our main course We had the beef short rib special, Sweet Chili Chicken Salad, Pappardalle and Bolognese! Finished the dinning with a birthday treat on the house and flourless chocolate cake!!! ALL of enjoyed our meals and the service was superbDefinitely worth our 1hr and 45 minute drive!Thank you Gabriel for a wonderful experience.

Last minute Sunday dinner plans with a friend brought me to this delightful restaurant. I always forget that this is just 10 minutes from my house. I love that it's not all hard surfaces, so it's easy to hear my dining partner and the restaurant doesn't reach unmanageable decibels like so many other restaurants. Great ambience for catching up when you'd like to hear your dining companion! I ordered the $49 Grilled Prime New York Steak for dinner, and it was absolutely delicious. The bone marrow butter and au jus was fruity and earthy all at the same time. It came with creamed spinach and potato puree. Everything was perfect.For dessert, I had the Tiramisu. I won't lie, it was a toss up between that and the Meyer Lemon Thyme Pudding. I might actually return and just order the pudding one night. The tiramisu was light and fluffy with a wonderful chocolate sauce and fresh raspberries. Can't wait to come back. This is right in my neighborhood, and I will for sure be frequenting it more often.

Went here for a celebration. Got a small sign and parking is tucked into that back. Will miss if aren't paying attention. Nice atmosphere. Dimmly lit inside. Steak was good, their gnocchi was great, bruschetta was savory, they had a salmon pasta dish that was lovely. Seared scallops was good too. Would go again.

Well Well Well! Revisited the Zinfandel Grill for another try after several bad experiences. Seems that the menu is back on track! The New york steak was delicious with fantastic sides, creamy whiped potatos, glad they are finally back & better than before. Probably would prefer a heartier veggie than creamed spinach, but this was great compared to past tries... Really missed the Mustard Chicken on the menu. Tried the Jerk chicken, flavor was good, but very rich. *As for Appetizers: The $6 toasted bread was tasty, but goes fast. Ordered 3 servings for table of 5, we were looking forward to the oil & herb balsamic.. miss that. The Extra blending of whatever it was to create a dressing dip?? why just why? I am not sure if it was the balsamic blended up. Do people enjoy the balsamic blended into a dip. I am not a fan. *Tried the cream of mushroom soup, tasty but again with the extra blending, big mushroom slices would have been amazing. I had high expectations. Although, Soup was delicious! But, Hide the Blender from this guy! Give it to back to the bar where it goes please. Would love a blended drink. However, the Bartender doesn't need a blender to make great drinks. All drinks are always good and great service. My favorite is the lavender lemon drop. I will also say the tables looked nice with tablecloths removed. Pretty tables. Made for nicer sleek ambiance
