Five Stars for Mario and his fabulous chefs! Beautiful ambiance and decor, also. We are so fortunate to have this beautiful restaurant and bar in Gold River. Mario is caring and bends over backward to take care of his guests. I say guests as that is how Mario treats everyone. You are never just another customer, here. Their menu has the perfect blend of traditional steakhouse menu and many vegan choices, as well. I highly recommend!

Had a fabulous dinner with my wife last night. Food was great, drinks were great, staff was the best. Great ambiance, a bit of live music too. Thank you Mario

My wife and I have been coming here since we moved here in 2015. We came here the first time for our anniversary and thought we would make "our place," The food was outstanding and the price was very good for the quality. Tonight, we came here for 48th anniversary, and looked forward to an excellent time and delicious food. Had to say that service was quick, but it almost felt like she was trying to get us out the door as quickly as possible. Aside from that she was the only waitress in the room, which apparently was OK since if they weren't very busy for a Wednesday night. But It did get busier. I had to say that the food has kind of declined a little bit. We both had steaks. We both thought they were tough. Aside from that we will come back because it's a great place to go. It's a little disappointing tonight. Sorry I couldn't be more enthusiastic.

We had a group of 9 guys who like food and bourbon. The food was great the cocktails were also great. The service was very good we felt like we were very appreciated by the staff and I believe the owner. A lot of times large groups are looked at like a burden at some restaurants?? Not here ! A few weeks earlier me my wife and another couple went there for reconnaissance for the group the treatment was the same and food was also great that trip . We will be dining here in the future for sure.

Mario is wonderful. Heavy pour on the Chardonnay, which in my opinion is 100000%. Delicious salads. Always open.Service is quick, no nonsense. The outside patio is lovely. I enjoy lunch or dinner with my husband, but have also stopped in to work a little, or bring a kiddo for a treat.

The service is excellent! Thank you Mario! Food is always good and enough to eat and I usually have some left over for lunch. Great wine list and Mario knows what to recommend. We have been coming here for years but this is first review.... shhhhh secret great place!!

The place has been neglected and is dirty. Windows have food spots, one window shade is spotted with food and cannot be raised. Chipped plates, dying and neglected plants, filthy wooden chairs. Left-over scotch tape on several surfaces (from events years ago). Chipped interior paint. Carpeting needs deep cleaning. Storage boxes visible to guests. The bread and butter brought to the table are awful (no flavor). The food is generally tasty, but the place is a dump, needs cleaning and TLC.A total refresh would entice new customers

Expect the service to be a little slow. It's a neighborhood restaurant with great food. Every dish I've had has been amazing. The wine pours are generous and the people are friendly .
