Zebra Club

This is a great local bar for breakfast and lunch. I got the gravy fried pork chops--cooked tender and crispy with amazing gravy. The hot turkey bacon melt was delicious and holds up well for leftovers. Bonus--cheeseburger soup.Congrats to owner Jerry for keeping this place a local midtown treasure.

Awesome Diver Bar! Came for the tacos but the drinks were great!!!! I will definitely be back.

Service is always on point despite being busy as hell. Breakfast sandwich is like 300x better than McDonald's and the same price.

Great breakfast and lovely staff. Everything I've eaten at Zebra comes out cooked really nicely. The service is always friendly but also gives you space to just enjoy your food. This trip was particularly lovely, my favorite part was when the cook would call the order out to the waitress with a fake Chinese accent. He seemed tickled by it so good for him. Gotta have fun at work. Maybe he would have enjoyed it even more if he had been able to see my wife, who is Hmong, across the table from me not enjoying it as much as he was. I had the chicken fried steak and was really enjoying it until the whole situation created a pit deep in my stomach and I just lost my appetite. We'll enjoy the leftovers tonight, while we try and perfect our "dirty toothless line cook" accent to test out when we go back in for some more Unclever and hurtful humor.

Great dive bar. Initially, we thought this place was pretty small. There are actually three rooms, one of which is an outdoor covered section. There are a couple TVs for sports/events, but otherwise it's a good place for socializing. Drink prices are very reasonable.

The older bartender that works the morning shift is hilarious. He makes a great Bloody Mary.

Zebra Club is and HAS been, my favorite neighborhood dive since I moved here, in 2014:You walk in and it is small, with no bells or whistles (but has TVs - very important for sports fans). Inside seating/bar seating/patio seating is available, but I always prefer the bar. On a typical night, there is only one person working the bar, so don't expect super fast service... with that said, bartenders here are always awesome! Zebra is the place to come if you are looking for cheap (but good) pub food and drinks... you aren't going to get anything fancy here, but what you do get, is enough! Always a fan of their beef tacos and fries. There's just something about the Ranch here! Zebra Club also makes THE best Jell-O shots: they won't melt your esophagus, and still taste like Jell-O (random, but important)!Street parking can be limited, so allow some extra time to park (if driving). Seating is also self-service. If you are looking for a funky neighborhood spot for eats/drinks that will make your bank account smile, Zebra Club is your spot!

I love zebra club. I've been coming here for years. It's a great place to catch a game and their food is outstanding. My personal favorite is the chicken fried steak. I love their gravy. Drinks are strong. Beers are cold and the tacos are a definite bonus. Staff is always attentive even when they're completely packed.

Should be left off the bar crawl. Horrible service, and rude. The male bartender just brought the Tacos without asking what type of meat. I do not eat beef and this was the only option. I see why they are 3 stars. I would not visit on a normal day.

This club was THEE coolest bar in the 90's with Dave as the bartender. No food, great music and a fun place to meet beautiful people. Oh the memories....
