Yume Gelato

Once you go to Yume, you will never stop. The whole experience--from the excellent gelato to the friendly, helpful service and cleanliness--is something I always look forward to. The gelato flavors are fresh and unique and there is always something new to try. There is usually a refreshing fruit like raspberry, grapefruit or pear that pair nicely with the chocolate varieties. I have never been disappointed and usually pick up a pint to bring home as well, always a big mistake when it's gone before you know it.

Really good flavor options. I love their fruit flavors like cantaloupe and their berries one. They also have unique flavors like Kinder Bueno (choc hazelnut), Gingerbread, Lavender and Mexican Chocolate. All I've tasted have been really flavorful! They change their flavors daily, they also always have a GF and non-dairy/vegan option which is nice for people with allergies. They serve coffee drinks here too. My friend got a Cappuccino and liked it.

Yume Gelato serves a variety of fresh and creamy gelato in the East Sacramento neighborhood. They maintain a core group of classic flavors but will often introduce seasonal or experimental flavors. If you find yourself frequenting Yume a lot, make sure to ask for a stamp card for a free 10th cup!

I'd prefer to eat here rather than most ice cream shops because they offer a lot of flavors that actually blend well together! The staff were super help when deciding what flavors to combine. You can also sample! They are also dog friendly which I appreciated. For the price, this spot is super underrated. Gelato was delicious and I didn't get the typical sticky feeling after finishing my helping of desert. Overall, super clean and modern with very helpful staff. Highly recommend.

So delicious! I've always wanted to try legit gelato, and this little dessert spot was the perfect place to start. They had a wide range of flavors that are rotated out regularly, and each bite was amazing - not too sweet, but just rich yet airy enough to satisfy my craving. We got the honey lavender, coffee and cookies and cream flavors. All 3 were delightful.

We came here to celebrate my eldest daughter's birthday and invited my family to join us. This place is really clean and there's a good amount of seating indoors. They have a good selection of flavors. The girls behind the counter were friendly, we were told that we could sample the gelatos before choosing the flavors we wanted, which was great. I really enjoyed the roasted almond and my kids loved the cookies the cream. We also added the wafer on top for an additional 50 cents. We were unable to finish our gelato and were able to get lids to bring our gelatos back home. Overall, great place for gelato. We will definitely be back!

We've been there a couple times and each time was a five star experience, so I'm finally bringing myself to Yelp to share the news. I mean, I rarely give five stars, so when I do, it's worth NOTING! This is a great little gelato shop. Small and laid out very simply, it's got a great vibe. Nice place to indulge in a bit of gelato loveliness and get in touch with your inner child for a bit. The flavors do rotate, so know to keep your "favorite" flexible. Trust me, you'll have a new favorite each and every time that way. Very innovative combination of flavors -- very fresh, creamy and extraordinarily delightful.My husband and I shared a medium with three flavors: Berries from Woods, Chocolate Heaven and Kinder Bueno. Berries was... well... VERY BERRY - a nice slightly tart and sweet contrast to the dark chocolate of "Chocolate Heaven". The combination was spot on perfect for my taste buds. Kinder Bueno was a milder chocolate concoction, of creamy hazelnut and chocolate drizzle. It held up nicely to the berries, but I'm thinking the strawberry might be a delightful pairing with it, as those flavors are a bit milder. The milder chocolate appealed to my husband a lot, though and he was quite content. Staff were helpful in us making our crucial decision of the PERFECT trio.There's a nice parking lot on the side but the entrance CAN be a bit difficult to spot, so SLOOOOOOOOOW DOWN. Do hope they are gonna have outside tables when the weather warms up a bit.

Little hidden gem! A friend showed me this place and it was amazing! Got to try all the different flavors and staff was super friendly and nice. They did not skimp out at all and there's plenty of seating for a cute date or family night.
