Planning a wedding is stressful and one of the biggest decisions we had to make was who would be our officiant. Jinnae made our decision easy once we met and talked with her. She had a welcoming warm vibe that we could feel from our first conversation. She took the time to really get to know us so she could make our ceremony feel personal and special. We were ecstatic to have Jinnae as our officiant! 10/10 highly recommend that anyone reading this take the time to contact her; You will not regret it.

Jinnae was an absolute darling to work with for our wedding. She met with us in person months in advance to go over the details of our ceremony (for those that aren't local to the area, she also offers Zoom call consultations.) After our meeting, she drafted a comprehensive Google document to describe the sequence of the ceremony as well as what she plans on saying for each segment, so there is no surprise to the couple on the day of the wedding. We were able to make edits in real time and she would make the adjustments necessary so that we were satisfied with her work. That being said, on our wedding day, the ceremony did not feel scripted at all -- quite the opposite actually! The way Jinnae delivers her words is very authentic and spiritual, and she does so in such a calming manner, all the while reading the audience and knowing when to squeeze in a bit of humor should the atmosphere call for it. We received positive comments from our guests saying how much they loved our officiant's demeanor, and how meditative they felt during the entire ceremony. Our photographer also complimented Jinnae's timing: he said that the ceremony was just the perfect duration. Not too long and not too short. My family is Filipino, and my parents made a request to incorporate "Mano Po" and the cord and veil traditions into our ceremony, which were previously outside of Jinnae's experience. But she spent a considerable amount of her own time to learn about our culture so that she can seamlessly add these traditions into our ceremony, which we greatly appreciated. After our wedding day, she mailed our marriage license to the respective office, and even provided me with advice on how to deal with the office's slow processing times.You will not be disappointed in choosing Jinnae as your officiant. Jinnae is a beautiful person; you immediately feel at home when you meet her. She has a naturally comforting presence, which I appreciated immensely going through stresses of life (and wedding planning.) For our ceremony, Jinnae crafted a story that was unique to me and my husband. Meeting with Jinnae to discuss our ceremony and tell our story was the first time I really paused and considered the beautiful thing we were setting out to do-- get married! During the ceremony, Jinnae had the same effect on every guest -- allowing everyone to pause, reflect, and savor it all. She told our love story beautifully and had everyone crying and laughing. A ton of guests commented to me specifically how much they enjoyed the ceremony. Jinnae put everyone in the right mindset and reminded us why we were all there. Jinnae performed our wedding ceremony last Fall and everything went just beautifully. We quickly felt comfortable and really enjoyed the process of crafting our custom ceremony. Jinnae really knows her stuff and made everything so easy. She was also familiar with our Grass Valley venue and gave us some great tips for the day, along with some great vendor referrals. Jinnae is the best. Smooth, comfortable and natural as an officiant. I'm a wedding DJ and work with all types of officiants 1-2 times a week. I really need to work as a team with whoever is running the show during a ceremony. The best officiants understand we need to review the plan, have a cue or 2 set up so timing is perfect, + they need to be comfortable and not sound robotic when talking. Jinnae is one of my favorites. She is fantastic to work with.

COVID changed our wedding plans twice, and we finally decided on a small wedding but with a tight timeline. We were immediately relieved to find Jinnae, who quickly put all of our nerves at ease. Jinnae had great recommendations for the structure of the ceremony, specifically how things could work well for a smaller wedding. She recommended several things that we ended up incorporating. Jinnae even took the time to meet us in person while we were in California to go through all the details. She was professional, organized and very prompt in helping put together the perfect ceremony for us, incorporating all of our feedback and personal details. On the day of, Jinnae was right on time and ready to go with all the documents and materials prepared. The ceremony itself was beautiful and had most of us in tears. Jinnae flawlessly delivered exactly what we were looking for and the ceremony was the highlight of the event. She had the great suggestion of incorporating our family members in parts like readings, and the wine box ceremony that made the whole thing feel that much more personal. Both our families were completely blown away and continue to talk about how amazing the ceremony was. We can't say enough good things about Jinnae and our experience from start to finish. We highly recommend Jinnae and could not imagine our special day without her presence.

Jinnae was wonderful!From the early planning stages all the way up to the day of the wedding Jinnae was wonderful. She took the time to get to know our individual personalities and learned what traits made our relationship special. She crafted all these things into a loving speech at the wedding. We didn't want a blink and the ceremony is over kind of wedding, but we didn't want to have our guests sit for too long and Jinnae understood this. Jinnae was always timely and responsive to our needs. When Covid ruined our May wedding plans Jinnae was flexible with us, and made our new August date work without a hitch.
