Not only is this place great for golf, it's great for weddings (and I assume other events) too!My daughter and her husband were married at the Yolo Fliers Club this past September. The planning and wedding were perfect. No hyperbole. It was truly perfect! I've never been involved with a wedding that went like this one...and I've never been to a wedding (or any other banquet or big event) that had food as good as the food the club served at her wedding. It was like dining at a fine restaurant. Every guest with whom I talked mentioned how good the food was and how nice the facility was. The venue (outside for the ceremony and inside for the reception) was beautiful and the service was first rate. (Even the weather cooperated.)Weddings start with planning and this one was no exception. My daughter started in April for a September wedding - which is a very short time for weddings these days. From the first inquiry about the club to the wedding itself, the experience was really amazing! The club's events team, headed by Veronica Lopez, and the executive chef, Chris Headding, are the best! They did a fabulous job making this the perfect wedding.Veronica is special. I could see that from our first conversation. She knew how to handle my stressed daughter perfectly. It was obvious that she genuinely wanted my daughter to have exactly the wedding that she wanted and more. Veronica made great suggestions. She also gave my daughter a list of local people who provided some of the services that the Yolo Fliers Club doesn't provide such as the photographer, DJ, and florist. That proved to be very valuable and kept the costs down considerably. My daughter picked people on the list and we couldn't be happier. Their services were better and less expensive than those my daughter found on Google, Yelp, and wedding sites. The club was decorated beautifully and everything down to the smallest detail was planned and done exceptionally well. I can highly, highly recommend the Yolo Fliers Club for your wedding.

Lovely venue for any party. Weddings are their specialty. Easy to get to from I-5 or 505, and the large parking lot is a huge bonus.

This is one of the premium wedding facilities in the Woodland area. The food & beverage concession is top-notch, with much experience in providing banquets for the local dignitaries and bigwigs. Its no secret that *most* of the major Service Clubs have their luncheons here. If you plan your wedding ceremony --IN BETWEEN -- takeoffs & landings, your experience will be completely satisfactory.Four stars, but only because I haven't been out there in a couple of years.

I played in a NCPGA tournament here last week. The course was in good condition and the green was firm and pretty fast, but not too fast. The fairways and rough was well maintained and fairly set up for the tournament. The staff was friendly and helpful. The course was a fair challenge, if you kept it in play and played to the large parts of the green you could score well, if you strayed very far you could get into trouble!

I attended a funeral reception here on January 30, 2021. Given that it was a funeral reception, the manager wasn't contacted until shortly before the event. Mark, the general manager not only responded quickly to the luncheon request but the private room was set up very elegantly, with tables spaced apart for Covid. The buffet was a full meal with chicken and roast beef as protein options. The staff was extremely courteous and efficient and Mark, the general manager, was on hand to ensure everything ran smoothly.I had never been to the club and it's in a beautiful location. The next time I'm in Woodland you can be assured I'll be stopping by for lunch here.

The man at the golf shop was very rude and we did not feel welcomed at all! Thought it was just him having a bad day, but I seen a club member walk in (Seemed like he already knew him), his attitude completely changed. The golf course is nice but with people like that, I wouldn't want to become a member to this golf club. Such a shame!

Yolo Fliers Club is known as 'a club in the country', not a 'country club'. The members are friendly and welcoming; the staff is friendly and efficient; the food is good and fairly priced; and the course is moderately difficult, well-maintained, and hosts Web.com and NCGA qualifying tournaments. And Debbie B.'s review is way off base, as evidenced by the other reviews.

The course is poorly maintained, with absolutely no idea of what a country club should be. The staff are poorly trained and the food is moderate at best. The most disturbing however, is the way people are discriminated against should they possible disagree with anything the board of directors is doing. I have been a member of three different private clubs in three different states, and this is the worst excuse of a "private" club I have ever had the misfortune to belong to. Can't wait to get out, BEWARE!!!
