I'm so impressed by the staffs commitment to all children not just the ones attending the Y. I see many of them spending extra time with the children with such compassion and caring. They are also such a big help with the parents as they go through the process of letting go of your child. The youth sports program it unmatched to help the kids learn basic sports skills, teamwork, and most importantly sportsmanship. This is is all summed up by the parents' willingness to give back to the program, whether is be by donation or by volunteering. Parking here is tricky, very limited on street parking only. A few business's across the street are very friendly and allow the use of their lots.

Great sports programs for kids at reasonable prices and we like the schedules don't go on forever. We are not members but can still do programs at sightly different rates. Our son has loved the basketball and dodgeball programs. Each round of the sport is 1-2 days per week and lasts about six weeks approximately. Enough time to have fun but not get burned out.

My son just started preschool here and so far, I am very happy with them. My son loves to go and I have been very pleased with the interaction I have had with the teachers and staff.

My child attended the daycare program and I was not happy with the quality of the program. The staff do not seemed to be well trained in child development the place is filthy and staff seems too busy To answer questions. I find it disappointing that the health and wellness instructor is a huge woman that does not say much for the YMCAs commitment to healthy lifestyles.

I *love* the Yolo County YMCA! My youngest son has been going there since he turned two years old - first for day care and pre-school, now for after-school care and mini-camps during school holidays. My older boy has gone to the summer camps for the last three years. The children's programs are reasonably priced (with financial aid for families that need it), the choices of activities are varied and interesting, and the teachers/counselors are WONDERFUL. We had tried a couple of other summer camps in the area, and The Y's staff are so much more energetic, intersting, fair, and resourceful.I love the fact that my boys come home covered in sand, paint, glitter, stickers, and occasionally bruises from all the activities they do in a day. From Music Matt (who deserves a Yelp review all his own...) to cooking classes to sports workshops to The Science Magician, The Y continually gives my kids experiences that they both learn from and enjoy.
