5/5 for convenience, service, and variety. I've been wanting to try this place since it opened and I'm glad I finally did. I got the jajamyeon noodles and the 4 item plate with white rice, chicken, braised potatoes, kimchi, and pancakes. Jajamyeon: bouncy, thick noodles with a savory black bean sauce and a fried egg. Loved the texture of the noodles and the sauce was super flavorful and silky. Made to order too so it was hot when it came out! 4 item plate: the reviews don't lie when they say the portion sizes are generous. They even added on some additional banchan at the end (broccoli, seaweed salad, and spinach I think). Favorites were the braised potatoes and chicken! I was a little worried about it since to go places can vary based on time of day/if the food was made fresh, but the chicken kept its crunch even though it was sauced (even as a leftover the next day). Extra surprise in the bag was also a little yogurt probiotic drink!! It was so cute and I loved that they do that. Will definitely be coming back to try more things and continue supporting this local Korean spot in Elk Grove!

Imagine if Panda Express decided to go Korean. That is YD Togo. The variety they offer here is decent! Lots of chicken items like fried chicken that comes in a sweet & sour sauce, or spicy sauce. The sides were decent such as cucumber kimchi, fish cake, Korean pancake, etc. However, I felt like it was lacking a bit in flavor. Nothing stood out to me, but the plate at least offers a good amount of food for around ~$20. You will be full after you choose your 5 items!. I do wish they gave more dumplings since I only got 2 which seemed a little for one side item.

Had to stop by at this place to try it out. The place is small but has 3 tables to eat inside and outdoor tables as well. The service here is friendly. But the food is way too overpriced for Togo joint when it's price like a sit down restaurant. I don't recommend this place if you're looking for a good Korean food.

Ok so I've been watching a ton of Kdramas and reading lots of Manhwa lately and they been eating so much good food in them it made me crave tteokbokki and kimbap LOL! So of course I thought it let me order from YD Togo cuz I know they will have them and more! Ordered online and headed over. Everything was piping hot and ready for me. Staff have always been super friendly and professional. The tteokbokki sauce is sooooo flavorful. It's not just spicy, they make it with carrots onions and fishcake so it is so tasty. The rice cake are perfectly chewy. The portion is more than enough for 2 people and comes with a hard boiled egg, fish cake, and mandu. I added extra fried fish cake too. The bulgogi kimbap is big, warm, and stuffed full of beef. I wanna try the veggie one next time because I love Korean veggies and pickles. Can't recommend this place enough!

The service is amazing and very friendly staff. Food is delicious. I love the jap chae, broccoli and teriyaki chicken. Their Kim Chee is perfectly spiced! I always come here for my Korean food the vibe is so chill there and I like the Korean music videos but most of the time I order Togo and I like to eat it while watching squid games at home. :)

In a nutshell; really is a togo place as there are a very limited amount seats, food is ok, it's rather pricey as well. If you're looking for Korean food to go and this was the only place around then I guess I'd say it's an ok option if you're only looking to buy one thing. It's get an ok selection of Korean sides/entrees/dishes to make a meal out of. There are also other options that doesn't prompt the customization where you pick which sides/entrees you want and etc. The employee was rather nice as our order took quite some time to prep. Food was ok. It isn't anything exceptional but it does satisfy your Korean food cravings. Overall it's ok. I'd probably rather try the other places around first before getting to this one.

Finally got a chance to try this corner shop today and it really helped reenergize me. The server was super nice. The way this place works is you'd enter and there will be a display of food and you'd get to choose the food you want. The premium choices are cooked upon order so they stay hot. If you do not want one of the Togo platters, you can order one of their other entrees. This place really is meant for Togo as there are only 3 tables inside and a few more tables outside. It's meant more for people who need a quick stop to eat before running off or just grabbing food for later I got the plate with beef bulgogi, sweet chili popcorn chicken, japchae and the potato croquette. I honestly didn't realize how hungry I was until they scooped up my food, or it was so good, I became hungry. Beef bulgogi - I really only waited 2-3 minutes for it. It's not marinated in case anyone was expecting that, but still flavorful and good to eatPopcorn chicken - I think I ended up preferring this over the beef bulgogi because it had lots of flavor and still was pretty crunchy when I got it. The person helping me really tried to cram as much as he could in too, so thank you!Potato Croquette - I'm not sure how long it was just waiting at room temperature, but it was still very crunchy when I got it. I heard the crunch in every bite, but the inside was soft and light. I recommend eating without the ketchup they provide, it's such a treat on its own Japchae is just what you'd expect. First part of the platter I finished. The brown rice I got was also very warm and added a nice color to the dish. I'll have to come back to try their lunch special and other chicken dishes next time

Location: located in a plaza with plenty of parking! There's two tables inside and a cool outside for seating but a very small store since this place is meant for to go service!Service: very quick service! You pick if you want a bowl or plate then the entrees which they have displayed for you to pick what you want! For most of our entrees, they took our plate back and prepared it. What I ordered: Plate with 4 entrees + rice Potato and mozzarella corn dog My thoughts: Potato and mozzarella corn dog: I was expecting a normal size corn dog but this was about half the size of what I expected. It was heavy coated in sugar and so really sweet. It was very crispy though and had a really nice cheese pull though. Rating: 3/5The plate was a decent size for the price. The entrees I picked were the beef bulgogi (extra $3), yangnyum chicken, popcorn chicken with sweet and sour sauce, and potato croquettes. Beef bulgogi: was warm temperature wise and as hot as I would have liked it to be. The meat itself wasn't too stringy or too fatty. Nothing too memorable about it besides it costing extra and being a small portion. Rating: 3.5/5Yangnyum chicken: I had mixed feelings about this. The flavor of the sauce on the chicken was amazing BUT this was basically a bland boiled chicken wing with skin coated that was coated in a very very thick layer of batter and sauce then fried. The chicken itself was most but so bland and flavorless. All the flavor was in the sauce but there was so much batter on the wing we had to throw it away. Rating: 2.5/5Popcorn chicken with sweet and sour sauce: the popcorn chicken itself was kinda dry and stall. The sauce didn't taste like sweet and sour. Rating: 2/5 Potato Croquettes: these were tasty but kinda bland. Tasted like fried mashed potatoes with a crispy tempera layer! Rating: 3/5

I'm BEGGING YOU--do NOT eat here unless you want to end up sick, disgusted, and absolutely pissed off like I am. This place is a total nightmare. First off, it's FILTHY. Like, I've seen cleaner gas station bathrooms. The floors were sticky, the tables looked like they hadn't been wiped down in days, and I'm pretty sure I saw a roach scurry by while I was waiting for my food. That should have been my first red flag, but unfortunately, I gave this dump the benefit of the doubt. BIG mistake. When my food finally came out (after an unreasonably long wait), I immediately noticed something was off. I took one bite, and it was cold, stale, and tasted like it had been sitting out for hours. But the absolute worst part? I found TWO--yes, TWO--pieces of HAIR in my food. Not just little stray hairs either, but long, disgusting strands. That was it for me. I brought it to the owner's attention, thinking he'd at least apologize or offer to fix it. Instead, this guy had the AUDACITY to get rude and defensive, acting like it was MY fault for saying something. Are you kidding me?!I ended up leaving without finishing my meal, and guess what? A few hours later, I was SICK. Like, stomach-cramping, toilet-hugging, food poisoning kind of sick. I wouldn't be surprised if they have all kinds of health code violations because this place is a literal biohazard.I'm telling you--save yourself the trouble. If you value your stomach, your sanity, and your overall well-being, STAY FAR AWAY from this disgusting excuse for a restaurant. Zero stars if I could.
