If you are looking for an authentic Korean dining experience, YD Tofu House never disappoints. My family and I have been going here for years. Service is always fast. Our favorite dishes include the Haemul-pajeon, a crispy savory pancake that is made with seafood and green onions, the Sundubu-jjigae, a wonderfully spicy stew with soft tofu, and Korean barbecue like the galbi and bulgogi. We love all the banchan that come along with the meal! Highly recommend this authentic Korean dining experience!

If you're on the hunt for an authentic Korean dining experience, look no further than YD Tofu House! This gem truly captures the essence of Korean cuisine with its rich flavors and warm ambiance. From the moment you step in, you're greeted with friendly service that makes you feel right at home. The menu is extensive, featuring a variety of traditional dishes, but the star of the show is undoubtedly the tofu. Each dish is crafted with fresh ingredients, and the house-made tofu is simply outstanding--silky smooth and bursting with flavor.I highly recommend trying the sundubu jjigae (soft tofu stew); it's comforting and packed with just the right amount of spice. The banchan (side dishes) are also a delightful touch, offering a taste of various Korean flavors that complement the meal perfectly.Whether you're a seasoned fan of Korean cuisine or trying it for the first time, YD Tofu House delivers an unforgettable culinary experience. Don't miss out on this fantastic spot--you'll leave wanting to come back for more!

Ban Chan was amazing.. bibimbap could be better if the pot was hot and "toast" the rice once mixed.. Galbi was yum too.. i liked how the side dishes were not salty but flavorful! Love the sweet anchovies!

Food is always good. .I like coming here for the seafood soft tofu soup. But for 18.99 the price is getting steep. I know everything is raised but wow. Other items are 22 and up now. .Tofu soup is served boiling hot. With a raw egg for you to crack in the hot soup. .I love the banchans which they do have a variety for more than 10 side dishes. They did ask me which ones I wanted for refills. .The inside is a lot bigger with more seating. It is a great place to host a gather or just have family dinners here. It's great to do family style as the servings is bigger portion for the high price they charge. .Overall I get my korean cravings out if the way when I am here in sac. It's the best place for banchans in sac if that's what your looking for. Hope this review helps and thanks for reading. Have a yelptastic day. Follow me for more foodie places.

Food: 5 MicsService: 5 MicsAmbiance: 4 MicsFood: Ordered my go to, my favorite - Kalbi short ribs and rice. The Kalbi was tender, sweet and. It too fatty. I was very satisfied with how much they give you, I ate the whole plate, I'm too stingy to share. Service: The service here was pretty good. The gentleman who took our order, was polite and gave us solid recommendations. The only complaint is one of our dishes was forgotten about and we had to remind the staff a couple of times. Finally we received our entree 15-20 minutes after everything arrived. Ambiance: Outside, I probably would not have walked in. After my friend recommended this joint to me, talked my wife and brother in law to take our niece from Oakland there. Inside, it's nice. Clean. Dark. Lastly, bathrooms are pretty clean!Check it out, food is legit. I'll be back for some bim bap.

Got here on a Friday at 7:30 prime time for dinner date night and we just beat the rush. This place is pricey but standard pricing for Korean foodLots of seating as it looks like they bought the store next door as well. This is not an AYCE establishment so if you're there for that, This isn't the place, but if you're looking for authentic Korean dishes, great spot. They do have a few pictures of their main items on the walls but the rest you'll have to find on Yelp or just know what it is.This place has one of the largest selections of Bonchon, coming out with 14 items. They no longer give the marinated micro-crab bonchon that m so many rave about. The service here was ok , but could've been a lot better. They came to take the order, and bring out the food, that's it. No refill on the water, no offer to refill on the bonchon, so I don't know if they actually offer to replenish bonchon. Would come back but may be some other places to check out.

Came here for the first time, was excited because I've been wanting to visit this place for a while now. My cousin said the side dishes were really good here and I'd have to agree, they had a bigger variety of banchan that I've never seen served before, pretty much all of them were good. I ordered the soon dofu seafood version and I'd give it a 8/10. Seafood can never go wrong for me and I love a good soup even on a hot day. The rice was delicious too. We also ordered the galbi jim, my cousin wanted to try it and we were open to it. I'd give it a 7/10. There wasn't much outstanding flavor in my opinion, and they didn't give much meat even though the price was steep. I know most places it is an expensive dish given how many hours to work is put into making it but I wish it held up to the standards I had. It also wasn't as tender as I would've liked. Servers were really nice and always checked in.

15 banchans (Side dishes)?! Are you kidding me?! My friend had a severe craving for Rabokki (Tteokbokki with ramen) she saw on TikTok so we went on a mission to try to try to get her some. We called the restaurant to see if they have this dish. The server were very accommodating and told us that they could add ramen and cheese into their regular ttebokbokki and we headed straight there. The interior is unassuming but standard for a Korean restaurant with empleo of space and back rooms (2 or 3) for large parties with those lazy susan round tables. The restaurant has a large menu and was a bit on the pricey but they do have huge portion size so I'm not bad about it. We got the angus galbi, beef tendon bone soup, and my friend RABOKKI. What surprised me this the shear amount of side dishes we got after we ordered our food. Didn't have space on the table for our orders then they came out and we have to stack the banchans plate to make room for our main course lol. Overall the food exceed our standards and satisfied my friends craving. Tho she thought that the sauce could have been thicker. My soup came with the beef tenders that melts in your mouth. Really appreciate how they have unique ingredients.

Two years ago I came to this restaurant, honestly very good I also like it, today again go back to eat, found that the flavor is very light, I ordered seafood noodles, really not much flavor, halfway through the meal makes me want to vomit, and finally returned home has vomited
