10/10!!! Had a reservation and was seated immediately, 5:30 on a Friday. All the food was amazing, Bao buns, garlic green beans, chow fun, honey walnut prawns and the wontons in the sauce were my favorite. Secret sauce mixture: ask for fresh ginger. Combine ginger, soy sauce, vinegar, and chili oil. Use this concoction for dipping. Will definitely be coming back soon. Similar to Din Tai Fung... just missing chocolate dim sum ¨

Yang Kee is the only Chinese restaurant in Sac town that has been consistent and saitiating for me - this has been reinforced with 3 visits.Mapo Tofu - minced pork with spicy sauce with silky soft tofu cubes. Add some green onions on top and you're golden.Salt and Pepper Spare Ribs - light and crispy battered crust over ultra tender ahort rib meat. You could easily eat it like fried chicken! The light tang of the salt/pepper seasoning and non-greasiness of the fluffy crunch is perfect!Wontons in spicy sauce - anyone familiar with the famous Din Tai Fung spicy wontons can relate to this dish. The wonton wrap is thin, meat filing is just right and the sauce isn't overwhelming. Pair with a side of ginger and soy sauce/vinegar dip and you have an amazing appetizer.Crab pork Soup Dumplings - very few places can pull off good soup dumplings and Yang Kee figured it out! When you bite into this dumpling, a flood of warm soup floods your mouth accompanied by fresh steamed crab and pork. Make sure you do not eat it right away; let it sit there for about five minutes so it can settle and cool down some so you don't burn the insides of your mouth.Chow mein - Hong Kong style chow mein and any of their varieties here is probably the best cooked I have ever eaten. I ordered the plain version with beef and even that was incredible! The cleanliness, fast service and turnaound on orders add to the joy. Finish off with Portguese egg tarts, so flaky and not too sweet!

Yang Kee was easy to get to, right off the main road on the corner spot with plenty of parking. We went on a Friday afternoon and they were pretty much filled, but the wait wasn't bad and you can watch dumplings being made through the large glass window! The soup dumplings delicious and hearty. The BBQ pork Bao were fluffy and fresh and the noodle dish was fire. Def recommend if you're in the area!

SERVICE: table sideAMBIANCE: clean and open, traditional - I feel so bad for their laundry service because those lovely cloth tablecloths have to fight against chili oil and soy sauce, etc! FLAVORS:Dumpling soup (5/5) - the dumplings are lovely, the broth is clean, and the NOODLES WOWWWWW!Pork soup dumplings (5/5) - the SKIN on these babies is SO THIN... CELLOPHANE is my only comparisonEggplant claypot (4.5/5) - slightly sweet, but delicious and perfect on a cold rainy dayPORTIONS: filling and heartyPRICE: appropriateBONUS TIP: yang kee soup dumplings are (apparently) a mix of all the above in the menu

All I can say is Wow. Found this spot across from where I am working and what a gem.Authentic soup dumplings with lots of broth, flavor and piping hot. Also and the fried shrimp chive pan fried dumplings and the shrimp with garlic. They have an open kitchen so you can see everything being made in house. Everything came out quick, tasted wonderfully and the service was great excellent. This is the place for dumplings in Roseville.

First time I came to try, was when they first opened. A bit disappointed and I was Not impressed. Food was so salty and wasn't very tasty. The beef chow fun we had was mushy so I haven't been back to try. This week my friends took us out and wanted to have dumplings and Chinese food. She suggested Yang Kee. So we gave it another try, 10 months later and Wow! They have improved so much! All the food we had was delicious and fresh! We were very impressed that all the dishes were tasty! Bing Bing our server was nice and friendly. She gave us a few good suggestions on what her favorites were. So we tried the baked bbq pork bun and coffee bun and it was amazing! Crispy top and soft and fluffy inside. The filling was so flavorful! We got the seasonal garlic pea sprouts with garlic and it was really good! The sizzling pepper beef was so tender and savory! I must say we will be coming back again very soon to try some other dishes! There were a wide selection of dumplings and noodles. The egg tarts for dessert were light and flaky. There seems to be a good variety for everyone to choose from. So glad they open an authentic Chinese restaurant in the Roseville so we don't have to drive to Sac or Bay Area for food. Go try it out if you haven't already!

My husband and I were meeting friends for dinner out in Roseville. I had had Yang Kee bookmarked as a place to try for a while, so we were excited to try it out.Even on a weekday evening, Yang Kee was busy! We joined the Yelp waitlist about 30 minutes before arriving and then had no problems checking in with the host once our party arrived. We ordered five dishes - pork XLB, chili oil wontons, black bean sauce green beans, garlic noodles, and salt and pepper fish. Everything was pretty good, but our standouts were definitely the pork XLB and chili oil wontons. The one item we would probably pass on reordering was the salt and pepper fish because it wasn't particularly salty, peppery, or crispy unfortunately.Even with it being busy, our server was very friendly and the food came out quickly. I'd suggest Yang Kee to friends and family looking for dumpling options in Roseville.

7/10 overall. Don't get me wrong, the soup dumplings were very good 9/10. The soup dumplings passed the chopstick pick up test where the wrapping did not break when picking up. There was a ton of soup inside the soup dumpling. We additionally ordered the satay chow fun 6/10. The sauce flavor was just okay. The wonton in chili oil 8/10. It seems as if this is one of the few places in Roseville that serves Chinese food.

This place is good. I recommend calling ahead or using Yelp to make reservations as there are limited spaces to sit. Items from this place are meant to be shared with whoever you are with. Our family ordered a cucumber salad, chicken chow mien, broccoli, salt and pepper spare ribs, orange chicken, ube baked bao, and other items. Everything tasted great. Our favorite was the chow fun. Those wet noodles were very tasty. The servers were really nice. I enjoyed the staff working the front along with the wait staff. The interior was decorated for lunar new year which is nice. I highly recommend this dumpling restaurant next time you are in the Roseville area.

God Damn! This place is legitFoods : everything we ordered was really good. It is a little pricey since the 4 items we ordered was about $70 with tax, before tip. However the price is definitely worth the quality. 1. Pork XLB ($14.95) - very juicy and flavorful! Wrapper was super thin and didn't break when you pick it up. 2. Yang Kee XLB ($22.95) - there are four flavors and they're color coded. The green is shrimp and loofah pork soup dumpling which was very light and refreshing. It had chunks of shrimp and gourd in it. The black is black truffle pork which was super strong in truffle flavor. There's tiny dots of black truffle dispersed within the pork. The orange was crab pork and it had pieces of crab meat it in. The last flavor is pork and this didn't have any color on it. The black truffle and crab were our favorites! There was a lot of soup inside and the wrappers were super thin. 3. Salted egg custard Bao's ($8.75) - the salted custard inside was super filled and spilling out. It was nice and runny but be careful you could burn yourself! 4. Chili oil wonton ($13.95) - the meat was super flavorful and they give you a big piece of meat inside the thin wrapper. It comes with peanuts at the top which gives it a nice crunch. Parking : it's a big plaza with other businesses so there's plenty of parking. Atmosphere : there was a line at the door even before they open at 11am so make sure you get there when they open. They have an open kitchen where you could see them make fresh dumplings and soup dumplings. Place looks super clean and service was amazing!
