Xochimilco Mexican Restaurant

SO GOOD !!!! Came in right before closing & I wasn't expecting much because they were clearly finishing up for the night. We were greeted & given menus right away. My husband and I both got super burritos to-go. Mine with no pico. These were hands down the best burritos we've had in a while! Very flavorful and juicy. Perfect portions of each ingredient so one doesn't overpower the other. We also were given A LOT of complimentary chips and salsa. The chips were fresh and the salsa was really good as well ! This will definitely be my new go-to.I came at the end of the day so I could only imagine how amazing they'll be earlier in the day !

This was our third time with takeout and unfortunately, just as disappointing. We were really hoping things would be different as it had been six months or more since we had ordered. No meat on the Chicken or Asada nachos just tons and tons of beans. For the price they charge there should've been tons of meat not just beans. The chips were over fried and had no salt. Their salsa is very boring and had huge chunks of cilantro. Bland flavored rice & beans with very little cheese, and barely any cheese in the Rellano. The chicken in my taco was flavorless and dry. The quesadillas and taquitos in the appetizer sampler were horrible. The quesadillas reminded me of what I used to make as a kid with Velveeta cheese and a microwave. The taquitos were overcooked and had very dry chicken inside. I'd rather do drive-thru at Alberto's or California burrito than eat at this place ever again.

¡Orale! It's a mixed bag for me. Old school vibe, perhaps a little too old. Waitresses were perfect. Salsa was freshly made but far too mild for my taste. Chips were fresh, but tasted as if fried in old oil. Single item meals were filling and under $20 for two. The chili verde and n the burrito was well seasoned but over braised back to dry. Flour tortillas were provided which allowed me to make a rice bean and cheese burrito more impressive than the starring act burrito. Waters were kept full. It ended up as an okay place for a meet up to complete fantasy football scoring for the new season. I'm repeating no time soon.

This was the most delicious Mexican food I've ever eaten in my life. This is greatest Mexican restaurant of all time.

Went to watch a friends band play and had fun. The restaurant is in a not so great neighborhood. It was dark inside & food was ok. The service was good.

I've been to this place many times before but not lately. It is not on my side of town but when I'm in the area I make sure to stop. Every time I leave with a full belly and a smile on my face. The food is reminiscent of my childhood Mexican restaurant called Luis's Mexican food on Alhambra Blvd. but this place is much more. Excellent service, kept my drinks topped off and chip basket full. It was a little dark in there but it had a nice ambiance to it. The food was excellent, Fresh and filling. The red sauce is the absolute best.

Always support mom and pop businesses. This one offers really good food and plenty of it.Definitely would go back.

Food was good maybe more sesoning and salsa was bland I ordered Cilantro and limes and what a difference over my food just saying, good portions no sauce on relleno or enchilada flavor wins everytime chef Billy C,

Love their rice and beans-Fresh homemade flour tortillas (almost never round, but who cares) I just like their food. It's consistently good!
