All 3 of my kids and I have been training here for a while now and we love it. The staff are amazing and incredibly kind and friendly. The kids learn valuable life lessons, discipline and of course Taekwondo. The adult classes are great too and it's one of the highlights of my week getting to go. It's well worth the 20-30 min drive for us even though there are plenty of Taekwondo gyms closer to our house.

Kids club has been outstanding help towards my son who was having issues in school especially interacting with other children. I feel that the self confidence that he has learned, discipline, physical education, etc. has served as a tool not only to excel in martial arts but also in academics. I would recommend Kids Club to any parent who is looking for a place where his/her child can thrive. There is also a class where parents can participate and stay fit. I am available for further comment.

More than 3 years ago (at the age of 5) my daughter needed an outlet. Due to a divorce between her Father and I, she was full of emotion and was building serious aggression. I shopped all around Sacramento for Martial Arts places in hopes to help her gain self control and focus her energy on something positive. Most of what I found were large chains that were very costly and impersonal. One night while driving down Folsom Blvd I saw a Kids Club open and decided to go in and get details on what they offered. I was impressed with the Master (Franco Parchamento) and the packages he offered. I noticed that although there was a great amount of discipline instilled within his students and black belts, he also encouraged fun and being a kid. Week by week my daughter continued the classes. As months passed her aggression started to subside and her self confidence grew greatly. Her knowledge grew about TaeKwonDo, her gross motor skills had developed beyond her age, she had started to move up the belt ranks, and she grew passionate about going. The black belts I met through the school were more like family to the Master than just mere students. The parents seemed to bond and chat while their children were in class. After spending time at Kids Club as often as I had (watching my daughter), I invited our family to come watch as well. Within 6 months, my 60 year old Father (who was out of shape) decided to join the adults evening class and he LOVED it as well. After 6 more months of watching my 6 year old daughter and my 60 year old Father do Taekwondo, I decided I no longer had an excuse to sit on my bum for an hour and watch the class...so I joined as well. I too LOVE going. Here we are years later, my daughter is almost 9 now and she is working her way to her blackbelt. I have worked my way up as well, however I still have much to go. I am remarried and my current husband has joined and so has my step son. We all genuinely LOVE going. The atmosphere is very family friendly. The place is clean and organized. We learn something every single time we go. Now that we are in the senior belts class, we are able to learn weapons training. Kids Club partakes in regular demos around Sacramento as well as regular tournaments. Self defense and weapon disarming is also taught. If you or your child have an opportunity to go, it is absolutely worth the time to drop by and see for yourself. You will likely see us there.
