Wonderful Chinese Restaurant

Service:The lady in the front was rude, this was my first time here and I was asking her questions like what comes in the combo plates she respond with a rude answer, every place is different some comes give you rice and chow Maine, some all Chow Maine, and some all rice, she should speak with people more better Food:Food was good, I ordered 2 combo plates, and they gave us everything in separate containers, I don't know why so I had to put everything on one plate for me and my wife when I got home, and I had 1 folding container left as well, I don't know why they put everything is separate containers instead of the combo containers, BUT the food was real good no lie, but the attitude we was given wasn't cool at all, my friend referred me to this place and he said the same thing we wasn't treated well, I'm going to try one more time if the service is the same I will never go back Food 9/10Service 1/10Tip: NONE Will return : 1 more time

SHUT UP! There used to be a wonderful Chinese in Elk Grove (now closed for a few years sadly) and I saw the Yelp photos and was like 'yup this looks like the wonderful I know!' I got what we used to order, sesame chicken, pork fried rice, and pork chow mein. THE CHOW MEIN WAS OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!! This food was sooooo delicious. I definitely over ate. But so worth it!

Came here while staying in the area for a quick late lunch. Found the place on Yelp. When we got to the restaurant, we were seated right away for a group of 6. The menu was your normal Chinese restaurant menu and lots of options. Was sad to miss the lunch special but as I was browsing through the menu, I saw the combination section and im telling you this is the gem. We ordered our own food, and for me it was the general chicken combo plate. I feel like I hit the jackpot on this. The plate was huge, came w crab ragoon, noodles, beef fried rice, the chicken in huge portions and great value. I've been craving Chinese food and this honestly hit the spot. Will come here again when im in the area and craving Chinese food! So delicious!

Really good authentic food especially at the price! If you are in the area, worth stopping by! I'm really picky with my Asian food and can definitely say this place makes it really good. Really good and quality service as well. Large portions, as you can see in the photo.

The name says it all. It was a bit of a drive from where I live, but a pleasant one & well worth it. I can vouch for the General's Chicken (I've been sampling this dish in many places for 40 years), pork chow mein & the honey walnut prawns. It was all fresh & delicious. It's my new "go-to" for Chinese take-out in EDH. The place is smallish & was filling up fast when I arrived. Prices are very reasonable.

I've been going here for years and always had a great food experience. For the past couple years prices have gone way up. I used to stop on my way home from work quite often for a combo rice plate. The past 4 or 5 times, the chicken chow mein had no chicken, the pork fried rice had no pork. I ordered house chow fun, it had 3 pieces of chicken, no beef, or shrimp. Mind you, I paid for house chow fun, not chicken chow fun. My cashew chicken had no cashews. My Wor Won ton soup had no veggies or shrimp. What in the world is going on??? I thought it was just an oversight but it keeps happening and I hate giving 2 stars but we should get what we paid for. Sorry Wonderful...I hope you get it together.

I feel that I know this restaurant fairly well having been there often enough in the past three summers I've spent in the area.The food is consistently good and May, the lady that seems to be there all the time is such a personable presence. In my observations, she appears to have such a personal connection with many of the regulars.I have no reservations in recommending this place, a great walk-in restaurant, with fast service, generous in their servings, reasonably priced with a whole lot of hospitality.

The food is delicious and always served in a timely fashion. They do great sake which goes well with the menu. Whether falling in for takeaway or eating in they always provide great service. Always have a good experience here and my wife and I use often.

I live in fair play and this is our night out. It is such a treat for us. Best chinese food I have ever had! Keep doing what you are doing, it's great! Some people may not understand you but the locals do

They're back open and AMAZING.Always solid, always on time and a great spot for some typical Chinese food you can rely on for a quick dinner tonight and lunch for the next day.
