Maria was an amazing person and teacher. She can def can throw some axes around and get a view of her skills. Maria got a bullseye while showing a few times... The beer was great and her customer service is great and awesome. I love Maria's vibe and chill..My name is Bobbie and I approve of this place

Recently, I visited Sacramento for a conference, and one of my friends mentioned this location as a place to visit after the conference was done. I have gone axe throwing before and decided that this would be a great opportunity to visit and hang out with some friends.First, this place has to be one of the chillest locations ever for an axe-throwing venue. The people, the host, and the workers are all super polite and upbeat. They even take the time to help you get better at throwing your axe.Additionally, they have some great selections of beer on tap, and for those that don't drink, they have fountain drinks. If you aren't into axe throwing, and just want a place to hangout, this is a great location to do so as well. They have older arcard games, some pool tables, foosball, pop a shot, and more. It has something for everyone.

This place is AWESOME! They have axe throwing, billiards, darts, and an arcade plus a bar! The staff are super nice and the owner was even here to help us learn how to throw axes! I'm surprised more people don't know about this place! We were in town for Badlands and Faces originally but this was way more fun and affordable! Will definitely be back!!

I had a really great time at Wise Axe. We went on a Sunday afternoon, so it was really calm and quiet. My partner and I were the only ones in there & it was so fun! Our first time axe throwing was super fun thanks to everyone at Wise Axe!

Had a great time. Went on a Friday night around 9 and not too many there. I left at 10:15ish and it started to fill up. Dj was great and taking requests. Decently priced. Would have loved if they had more snack/food options. Otherwise I can't wait to go back!

Axe throwing here was a great experience. We did a team building event. Doug and Justin were great hosts. They serve a good selection of beers and also allowed us to bring food from outside.

Booked a last minute axe throwing for me and my buds who were visiting back in early Dec. We had a blast. The staff were super helpful, extremely friendly and we were all laughing a ton. The place was clean and comfortable too. The owner (Doug) came by while we were there and was incredibly nice and made our first time experience there memorable. I am a terrible axe thrower, but I blame alcohol!

I recently had a disappointing experience with the customer service at Wise Axe (WA). I would rate my overall experience a 2 out of 5 because the DJ smiled at me. However, the other staff members were not as friendly 2 males. The first guy I encountered seemed distant and didn't answer my questions. He also ended up charging me twice. When I asked him how to use the axe, he directed me to another staff member, who quickly gave me instructions, less than a minute. When I asked for a demonstration again, he didn't respond and walked away. Later, I noticed that he was actively engaging with and assisting two white girls, which made me feel uncomfortable due to hearing his support, guidance, and motivation. I'm not sure if people here are transphobic, dislike people with disability, or people of color, which is ironic with their location. In the middle of my time there, he gave me a different axe, but when I tried to address how uncomfortable I felt, he simply said, "Thank you, have a nice day", and ignored my concerns. I left without even using my full half-hour slot.

Was waiting for a reservation at Roscoe's across the street when my husband and I saw this. We went over and had a beer. The bartender allowed us to throw an axe to see how we liked it. Overall, I think it would be a fun place to start your night, when it's not too crowded. They have table top games, arcade games and skeeball, as well as axe throwing.
