Window Box Cafe

Invited for a gathering here and was pleasantly surprised! Small well run, clean, and cozy little cafe. Tucked away in a place most wouldn't normally find. The Lady who owns it has made it her own. A former Mexican restaurant; she has completed the change to a lovely American cafe. Friendly service and above average cafe fare is in keeping with the 'Window Box' theme. I had an excellent Belgian waffle and a rasher of beautiful bacon. The coffee was excellent and the cup was kept full! Handicap parking at the door, outside seating in nice weather and a hop skip and jump from Roseville's Costco.

Wanted breakfast food but didn't want to go to any of the chain places. This place popped up and wasn't too far. Outside looking in doesn't look like it would be much, but the food was amazing. Blueberry pancakes were spectacular, homemade corn beef was good, and poached eggs were perfect. They also have more than just hot coffees available and that was a plus! Biscuits and gravy were a big disappointment (dry biscuits and over peppered gravy.) everything else was great. I would say the only downside to our visit was the server that initially greeted us when walking in (She had a undercut hair cut) she looked like us walking in unconvinced her entire life and had such a poor attitude. Very grateful she didn't end up being our server! Our service was great, and prices were very fair too which is hard to find in this inflated economy. Will most definitely be returning!

Great food. Nice sit down restaurant. Service was very good. Would recommend if you're in the area looking for a place to grab breakfast.

3.5 stars. It's a pleasant spot sort of hidden away. The place is very clean including the washable menus. The menu offers a lot of options. It's essentially an American restaurant. The breakfast burrito ordered meatless so they added extra vegetables with a side of potatoes are both good. The cheeseburger is very good with a side of fries that are okay. The service is very good.

This little breakfast/brunch spot has a special place in my heart. It's so cute inside and the food is so gooood! Service is great and I've never had any complaints! I recommend their cinnamon roll if you're craving something sweet in the A.M!

Not a lot of people on a Thursday morning however we stood at the front desk for a while before the waitress noticed we were there. Only one other couple dining at the time we got there. Quaint yet clean place. Very chill and service was quick. Would come back again.

Ambiance- clean look inside and out. Yellow and Pastel inside, lots of windows and garden views. Multiple rooms inside give it a cottage feel.Service - very good and friendly Food - reasonably priced. We enjoyed our meal.California omelet and mini pancakes wasnbareky finished, a lot of food. Good hashbrowns.Chicken fried steak - good patty, gravy was a little bland, but I am not a gravy on my meet guy. Very good country potatoes and eggs. Mini pancakes (2 - 5 inch cakes) was just enough to round off the meal and barely able to eat it all.

I love Window Box Cafe, I think you will too. The welcoming atmosphere, the great omelettes, sandwiches and yummy comfort food can't be beat!

Love coming here for brunch. They've got plenty of space for big groups or small and the food is delicious. The servers are all very capable and fast. Will definitely be back!!
