Willie's Burgers

We were there on Saturday around 1pm. It was packed. Thankfully. Someone got up just as we were ready to sit down. We totally scored a table. If not there were tables outside, other than it was a little chilly outside.I ordered the Hammer 1. It was great. Very juicy. I didn't need more than that. I loved every bite. We also had the onion rings. They were very tasty. They were just as crispy as I had hoped. I love crispy fries and onion rings.

We stumbled onto this place while visiting old Sacramento waterfront and it smelled delicious but the actual meal fell very short. Disappointing experience. The food was below average--garlic fries were undercooked and soggy, burger buns barely toasted and borderline cold, and the patty lacked flavor entirely. Despite the place being busy and smelling great, it fell short on taste and quality. Wouldn't recommend.

We came to Old Sac for the Theater of Lights and found a prime spot to view the show from in front of Willie's. We decided to order some drinks and food while we were there too obviously.We went with the Hammer 4, Garlic Fries and the Kids Chicken Strips. To be honest, I was only a fan of the chicken strips, the fries were heavy on the raw garlic so it was spicy, but not in a good way and the burger was mediocre at best. The bun was hard and my favorite part was actually the American cheese.Overall, I was disappointed and I wasn't a fan of them selling everything separately so there were no meals, you had to order the fries separately for an additional charge plus whatever drink you wanted. The same went for the kids meals - fries or a drink were not included. Staff wasn't all that friendly either.I don't think we'll be back.

The service was quick and efficient no line. Service was okay the cashier was not warming, and wanted to get the job done. We had to ask questions twice in order for answer. They allowed for customer use of bathroom only. The beignets were warm and big. The flavoring for the bread was okay, it was thick and dense when beignets are fluffy and light. But very picture worthy and an amazing amount of powdered sugar.

Love some Willie's when I'm in old sac and cravings. Burger and fried zucchini! That's my fav! Portions are huge!!! The burger is always really good! The fried part on the opinion rings can be alittle more thin it's alittle bartered too much for me but the garlic fries are fire! Friendly service going in they have a public restroom! Always have tons of leftovers ! I like sitting outside and watching the people walk by butt why wanted to eat inside .

People love this place and there is not issue with that. I personally do not like any char or burnt flavor, so it was a little tough for me to enjoy the burger that had a black ring around the exterior. The fries were good but forgettable. Honestly, I can't even recall what any of the food tasted like but enjoyed the history of the building. (Hint: There actually is a restroom through the 'employees only' door).

Want a burger? Near this location? Yeah make a stop. If you're looking for a memorable experience to tell others about, this is very average in a lot of ways. Willie's in my mind is a less busy In-N-out. They had a simple menu, burgers, hotdogs, fries and onion rings. The typical burger joint staples. Inside isn't anything special. It was a little warm and stuffy, they had some fans the move air. The workers were mostly friendly and knowledgeable. It wasn't as fast as I expected, but I had my food within about 10 minutes. I thought the food was fine! A decent burger, good fries. Did it get the job done, absolutely. Did it leave me feeling like this is a stop I need to make the next time I'm in Sacramento, not really. The convenience of it made the stop worth it. I left satisfied. But wasn't blown away.

Was introduced to this location for the first time and probably the last time. Walked around Old Sacramento and needed to grab something to eat. Walked inside with a group and they were able to take our orders quickly. We found some seating outside (they have a couple tables inside) and waited. We got our orders - Garlic Fries- Large Chili Cheese Fries - massive portion that was extremely saltyOverall it was ok, but due to the extreme saltiness I would not return. They do have a bathroom that was very clean and staff was friendly.

The service was great the guy in the front was super friendly and professional! The burger was delicious, but the fires were everything but good. The prices are pretty high for what you get. Two burgers and 1 fry with a single drink was $33. The ambiance is nothing special in there.

I've heard Willie's has the best fries, and I can confirm they are super yummy. The lady at the cash register was very kind and patient, especially when I asked questions about the different menu items. She was very honest and patient when my friends and i tried all the beer flavors. I really like how they leave the jalepenos and chilies out for you to take. Ranch is .50c extra though. I was very bummed to see that they didn't have beignets for the month of October, but I guess that means I need to come back again. Parking is also meeter parking, so make sure you pay with the appropriate amount of time, I saw the parking attendant walking around even 15 minutes till free parking
