... this place is not well ran at all. The young ref...? Disorganized, slooooooow, uninthusiastic, disinterested, and basically sat in the back not doing his "ref" job. The place? Very little designed cover.. you'll have to use the slim trees to try and take cover. They couldn't have shown more how little work they intend to put in. Personally, I preffer shooters all season in sac. The only good thing is the size... but like I said, they don't do work there. It's just a field...

What a great experience. I brought my 14 year old son and his buddies for our second birthday outing on Dec 30 2017. The staff is great, nice. The equipment was great. The maps were fun. We loved it. Can't wait to go back. Our big thanks to the Wild Adventure Team.

I've played paintball for over 7 years, and tourney ball for over 3. I've lived in Sacramento and various parts of the bay, I've traveled up and down the state and across the country for tournaments, and WAP remains hands down my favorite field. The things that set it aside from every other place are the laid back environment, good people, a well kept park, and a distinct lack of aggressive idiots. Many parks are treated simply as a business by their owners, or are neglected from monday-friday and covered in goo on the other two days. The family that runs WAP not only take great pride in their field, they're chill, reasonable, and honest. This isn't exactly a haven for tournament players, which may contribute to the field's charm. While the field features a 7-man airball field, 2 lego fields, a terrific hyperball field, a spool field, and another pipe field dubbed "hydroball" (complete with swiveling bunkers!), the players are usually a mix of walk-ons, a few new guys, and some trusty regulars. The staff is helpful and competent, which is actually a lot to ask for sometimes.Nearly all of the usual suspects at this field use pump guns, which require a manual reloading action after every shot. This helps to even up the playing field while honing playing skills and preventing people from getting shot in half by guns shooting 18 balls per second. (There's no rule against it, as anywhere, but nothing like a little peer influence). I've never understood people who like to beat up on the new guys with their superguns and yell and scream like they own the joint. It ruins people's day and it's not fun. Anyhow...If you're looking to get out and try your hand at paintball with your friends/coworkers/roommates or just want to play some ball in a place not reffed by 12 year olds, give WAP a try. Please do not show up and act like a total fool or I will shoot you till my blood pressure goes back down.

i must say tht it took only our second field to realize where home is. we love wild adventure!! went up here the first saturday of the month, it was me, my fiancee his brother, his friend and our two nephews. the drive wasn't to bad, about 15 mins pass midway, 10 mins if you want to risk a ticket! speaking of tht, the owner is such a sweetie-pie. when we called to double check the address, she informed us tht she has no addy, just get off of exit road 14,a and we sill see her to the left, and to not speed because chp was really out tht day, ahhh. we get there, it's an all dirt and gravel space, no pave roads. a couple of places set up on each side of the parking lot,. little shade thingys up to block out the sun, which tht day was over 90 degrees, yeah, a good day to go paintballing. the fee was lovely, just $15 for us because we were self-equipped, and if your not, then just add on another $15, an\d that's for all day! the fields were set up far apart, so we had a nice guy pulling us along in a trailer, just make sure to hold on tight! it was a really good crowd that day, and i was the only girl too. took them 5 games to finally hit me, but they did. when we took our break, and make sure you pack a lunch, your out in the sticks, nothing but freeway and roads, and plenty of water too, the driver came over to our sitting area, and asked us if we were going to go with them to the field to play another round and we kindly told him no thanks. but the point that i'm making is that he didn't have to do all that, he could of looked in our direction, and see that we were eating, and kicked rocks, but he didn't. all in all, great place, and you will be seeing us up there next saturday!and i hate to compare, buy the one thing tht i love above here then midway, they let you take off ur goggles in between matches! if u've ever paintballed, you know how hot it can get if u have to always have to keep ur googles on.

Les and Debbie were really great hosts for our son's 13th birthday paintball party. The maps are fun and different and they got to play different games on each one. Les does a great job with safety and refereeing the games and the kids had a blast. It was much more personable that the more commercial paintball locations. Lovely people, great outfit. We'll be back for sure.

Today, in the windy, rainy weather we took a group of 14 year old girls for a birthday party. First time paintballing, and they had a great time. The couple that run the place were awesome in helping them learn the games. Highly recommended.

WAP Rocks! I held my son's birthday party - 17 active 12-14 year olds and some parents - and we had the best time EVER. The facility is huge - various play parks over 100 acres. The owners are attentive to safety and helpful to the nth degree. The kids all received an excellent safety briefing and a referee was provided all afternoon. A ride on a flatbed was provided to all the fields (again - 100 acres) that was not expected but thankfully received. The picnic area was prepped for us along with a BBQ pit at our disposal. One of the owners took the time to fgive target practice lessons to the little kids with us who were too young to play and even threw in some extra paintballs for them and the bigger kids to let them keep going.Bring lots of water! And bring your own food. This is out in the country. But it's easy to get to and well worth skipping facilities that are closer to town. What a great day. I can truly say it was the best kids party I have ever been to or given. And all the participants felt the same. Thank you WAP!

This is the second time we went out to WAP, but the first time I went out and played myself and I had a blast. The owners are wonderful, helpful and patient. They had tables, chairs, and shade, we brought our ice chest and lunch between one of the games. They have 5 different field, such fun. I totally recommend WAP for a good time.
