Cute little park with a unique playground area with lots of opportunities to climb! There's a really cool slide with wheels that will make you go down super fast and its so fast! Nice and secluded from the street as well with benches and tables for picnics or resting. Would visit again!

Fun small neighborhood park with everything a kid needs to have fun! Large play structure with tall and short slides, climbing wall, ladders, stepping pods, balance beam, monkey bars, see saw, sand pit, and swings (2 regular swings, a toddler bucket swing, and an accessible swing). One picnic table, lots of benches, and plenty of tree shade.

This is a lovely little hidden park. Tucked into the side of West Davis, this park has a large play area with plenty of fun equipment and a set of swings. It seems most suitable for kids 4 years old and above, although my young toddler still had fun. The swing area and playground area are set in circular cement pits with wood chips. The cement pits basically make it so that kids can't escape the play area from the back. It's helpful if you're keeping your eyes on multiple kids! There's a stone dolphin statue that's cute to take pictures by. There aren't any bathrooms, so go before you come. We found decent shade in the morning due to several large, beautiful trees. There's a BBQ grill and picnic table, along with several benches. There is a small sand area. In case you're thirsty, there is a drinking fountain! As far as parking, it's street parking on two of the four sides of the park. The other two sides of the park are bordered by houses. The park is mostly surrounded by fences.

I was told by some old time Davis locals that when they did the landscapeing for this park it was such a novelty that schools would have feild trips so the kids could:SeeA Hill. pleasesavemefromthistwodimensionalhellI couldn't justifiably ask for anything more from the closest park to my house, but restrooms would be nice. The park has a big plastic play structure with four slides, a quad set of swings, and a big wheelable tarmac path bisecting the space. There is also a concrete lifesize dolphin, and a nice picnic area with a couple of tables- hence the bathroom complaint. PM me if you want to use ours...

We always take the kids here if we stop in Davis. The park is quiet, clean, modern, and fun. The pics speak for themselves.

This park has come a long way.Way back when, they used to have a telephone pole buried in the ground at a diagonal with a tire swing hanging from it. I guess building codes or common sense weren't in particular abundance back then, but, all learned the errors of their ways when a teen decided to scale that diagonal slope and fell off. I guess that was when gravity was realized in addition to the health hazard now know as creosote poisoning. But alas, a new day has dawned and now there is new playground equipment in a very peaceful setting. And my dogs love to crap here.Ya feel me?

We were in town for a few days with a toddler, so, of course, we needed to find a few good parks! We decided to try this one based on location, and it did fit the bill! There is a separate area for swings from the rest of the playground, and the play structure itself is in good condition and has several different activities for the children. If there were LOTS of kids at the park, it may be a bit difficult to do a lot of interaction with what is there as there isn't a ton of different stuff to do and not a lot of room to run around, but we were lucky and it wasn't over-crowded when we visited. I did like, also, that the park is fenced in. Even though the streets surrounding the park are in a neighborhood and not really busy, it's still nice to have that extra safety. I didn't even notice the lack of bathrooms as another reviewer stated, but there is a drinking fountain available. And, in Davis, it's always nice to find that the other people at the park are friendly...even when they're visiting from other places too!

Great park! The jungle gym is so much fun, it's on a big lot so kids have plenty of room to run and play, and it has plenty of street parking. The trees around provide some shade, and the lake nearby brings in a nice breeze. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star is because of its lacking bathroom facilities.
