West Sac Sports Bar and Grill

I love this bar. As a woman, it's hard to find a place that makes you feel safe and supported alone in a bar. This place is that for me. Love stopping here for a drink after work, bartenders and owner equally amazing. Anyone who says different, there's another story there. Love this bar 100%

First time at this local sports bar. Came for a Monday night football game and the place was packed. I found a single spot open at the bar which was perfect since it was just me. I was right in front of the tv to catch the game. They also had some baseball playoff on. Several TV's going at once make this place stand out compared to others in the area. The crowd here was fun and hyped for the game. They had the volume up for the gam, which is better than playing music in my opinion. Asked for a menu but the bartender told me they were only serving tacos so I went with 3. Ground beef was meaty and they put a lot on each taco. The tortillas were crisped up nice and the lettuce and cheese reminded me of a really good Jinboy taco imitation. This place has patio seating in the back. Parking lot was full but the walk into the building was too far. I'll definitely be back for future sporting events. I'm still not drinking so I went with water and with 3 tacos my total was $7.80

One of my favorite places to watch a game, have a beer, or mixed drink, and enjoy the yummy bar food! One of my go-tos is their wings, as they are well seasoned and have a perfect crunch. I order them mild here because when I ordered medium the first time, I just couldn't eat them due to the heat! Grant it, I don't eat too spicy, but those that do agree their medium is very spicy. You can also order them naked, which the kiddos love. Oh and don't forget the fries! So good. Service has always been solid. When it gets busy, please bring your patience as there's usually only one bar tender, and they do their best to get to you, but it can take time to get them to take your drink/food order, but I promise it's still worth it. No matter how busy they are, they friendly friendly, and their mixed drinks are spot on. They make a delicious White Tea shot, which I normally don't do, but it's so good, I just sip it and enjoy it. Every time I am here I have a great time because everyone seems to be having a great time. I believe the lighting helps, as it's not too bright or too dim...to me, it's relaxing.

This is a nice local place. Came here early on a Saturday night bc my friend and I wanted to place some pool, get and eat bar food. This place was nice! The people were friendly, food was good. I had the bacon cheeseburger and yum! The pool table was decent. The price to play pool was great! Will definitely come here again

The ambiance here is amazing! The bartenders are friendly, talkative and pour you a great drink. They also have food available here but as of yet, I haven't checked it out. I will update this post when I do. Full bar and many happy customers. You can't go wrong.

The food is good. The people are friendly. The customers that come INR a long time residents of West Sacramento. I've never had a bad evening. Sports are always playi g on TV. Best place to go before you Head out to any sports events or concerts drinks are reaso able and so is the food!

West Sac Sports Bar and Grill is a low priced sports bar located in an inconspicuous spot off Jefferson Blvd. It's decorated with sport memorabilia, has a pool table, high top tables, and seats along the bar. It also has a concrete floor and not did seem to be very well heated. I was there on a February night, so it was a little chilly inside. I stopped for a beer and also ordered some Phad Thai, which came to $16.38 with tax. When the bartender poured my beer, it came out kind of foamy. When I took my first sip, I found out why. It was on the warm side which surprised me on such a cold night. Not that it was the bartender's fault. She was actually friendly and gave me a couple of beer samples before I chose one. It was a Monday, so the only food on the menu was Thai food. The bartender recommended it, so I decided to order some Phad Thai, but wish I hadn't. I got a small plate of achromatic looking noodles, vegetables, peanuts, chicken, and side dish green sauce. There wasn't much sauce on the noodles and the flavors definitely did not pop. The chicken was battered, fried, crisp, and did have a nice color. However, there seemed to be more coating than meat and it smelled a little like old fryer grease. The one bright spot of the dish was the green colored sauce that came on the side. I don't know its name but it was surprisingly good compared with the rest of the food. I don't think I'll be back for the warm beer or mediocre Phad Thai, but I would for that green sauce. Although I doubt I'll be welcome after this review! Sorry West Sac Sports Bar and Grill, three stars only...

West Sac Sports Bar is a great place to watch a game or grab a beverage with friends! The service is A+, I'd like to recommend Jenn specifically. She is welcoming and makes it feel like you are there visiting your local neighborhood pub. Tasty food and plenty of TVs to catch the games. West Sac Sports Bar is a great hidden gem not far off the freeway, give it a try!

Responding to Robins review. I think you're completely wrong, I was sitting at the bar next to you when all this went down and I think the owner handled it very well. The owner is not obligated to throw your ex out out of the bar so you should get over it. You need to leave your personal stuff at the door have a good time at this bar because that's what they're all about.

This place was amazing.. the bar tender was awesome and the owner is a really good stand up guy who goes out of his way to help out a few family members who came in and needed his assistance in a personal matter.. that alone says a lot about him when he offers assistance to members of our community without hesitation. The food was great and the service exceptional.!!
