Welco Supermarket

Came here early upon opening to grab dinner ingredients, specifically kaopiak. There was one bag left. Had to go to People Supermarket to get more as I was having guests over. Tip: don't come early if you're looking for to go stuff. Vendors are not here to drop off food to sell yet.Looked for herbs but they didn't look so fresh. I passed. Checked out and saw good selection of alcohol though.

I go here a lot to buy lunch but 1) HAIR in BOTH foods that's completely wrapped separately. 2) they told me that there's ground pork in the dumplings but it's SHRIMP. There was also hair in my food i didn't even notice until i tried to bite the 2nd time. someone could really have a bad day if they were allergic to seafood and was told it was pork. BIG BIG problems with this establishment, not coming back. also, this is not the cashier's fault but when he scanned my food he OVERCHARGED ME for 6.99 for someonething labeled 2.49 and had to refund my money. bad bad stuff.

Check your receipt. Got overcharged $21.99 for 8lb Armour lard on special for $19.99. Showed the cashier the sign and receipt and they argued and refused to give me the $19.99 and said their system is correct and not the sign. Beware.

I went there yesterday in the pouring rain because I was craving some hot food. Maybe it was 3 hours from closing but their deep fried hot food were stale. For example, the egg rolls. It was mushy. The sui mai were also bland in texture. I also purchased a few of the cold sweet tofu with syrup. When I opened it today, it was not edible. I had to toss it out. The reason why I gave it a two star was because the fresh crab I purchased was $2 cheaper per pound than the other supermarkets near by and they carried traditional Chinese deserts that's not sold at other Chinese stores.

Good market overall but we came here for specific asian foods and they sell a mixed bag of different types of foods here.Go somewhere else for asian foods.

Food is never fresh, apparently. There are no dates on the food showing when the food was made, packaged, or best sold by. Some eggs were slimy and smelly. Visually, you can tell they aren't consistent like how boiled eggs are supposed to be.

Rude bitter old lady at food area!! Food is not the best chinese food so I sometimes asked why I even bother supporting her. I come here to support this lady BUT today I had my kids with me which I was ordering a lot of plates. My daughter touched the glass window which she told my daughter no touching in which I told my daughter not to touch the window. While grabbing more food, my son pointed and knocked on the glass indicating he wanted the fried fish. She rudely said stop touching the window to my son. I told her stop being rude because when I come here, she is always rude.She said my kids are rude and need to listen when she told them not to touch the glass window. I told her people touch the glass all the time rather it be me or my kids because there are finger prints/hand prints on the glass. I handed her back all the food as I will NOT support this food place anymore. COME ON IT IS A FREAKING GLASS!I asked her how is knocking on the glass hurting her? So I knocked on the glass and she said she will call security on me. I told her kids touching or pointing/knocking on the glass indicating which food dish they want does no harm. She proceed to stay it break i pay. Umm....bitter old lady how is touching/knocking on the glass going to break it? Last time supporting this old bitter lady. Food was never the best anyways.

They have everything including a butcher shop in the back. Isles and isles of refrigerated meats and lots of other stuff that you won't find anywhere else.

Overall, a very cute supermarket! I was able to find everything I need for hot pot and the people were nice and can speak English! Produce, meat, and seafood are are fresh too!! ... 9.5/10

I appreciate the staff here. I always pay my bill here and they're always so quick! The family who owns it is so sweet and caring and I come here all the time to support them. The environment is also very clean which is rare for a supermarket in the area! Definitely recommend for anyone in the area who needs to grocery shop!
