Village Drive-In

Man I love this place. Good size hamburgers. Here's the deal though... One of the key's to a good sando is the bun. They got great buns here. Nice and chewy. Im into it. Im kinda surprised I never reviewed this spot.. it's one of those places I've been going to forever ...guess I figured I had already reviewed it at some point. I get the Cheeseburger deluxe and Onion rings (only if someone else gets some fries I can steal other wise ill get a fry) they got other awesome stuff.. fried things and milkshakes..but really its the burgers that keep me coming back. Nice and fresh...good size and great buns.

Good simple hamburgers that doesn't try to do anything too fancy. You get the classic flavor with all the ingredients and the service is usually pretty quick too. We need more restaurants that do one or two things very well just like village drive in.

Fries were super greasy and tasted like old oil. The burger was bland and very dry due to being over cooked. Everything was just not good. Disappointing!

It pains me to give this place 3 stars because it was a staple for me growing up. I'd literally be here every day in summer when I was a kid but it's just not the same. The burgers have deflated in size and massively increased in price. The nickel and diming for refills was the main reason for loss of a star too. I get charging for extra sauces but soda refills was a bit much. Overall, the nostalgia of this place just isn't enough to make me come back for their food anymore. I will however continue to return for their slush puppies.

One of the best burger places in Sac. I have literally been going to Village since 1998 and will continue to do so. Not only are the cheeseburgers great but they also have a verity of other menu items. The tacos and BLT's are really good too. Everything always taste fresh and I never have a complaint. Don't forget to order one of their yummy slushies or their cherry lime Ricky! The service is always good. They have an outside patio and a couple of seats inside as well, a drive through and call ahead orders available.

Some of the best burgers in town. Really enjoy coming here. Food is consistent and the produce is ALWAYS fresh. No complaints here.

Super mid. It has a vintage vibe on the outside. Burger was like one you get at a little league game. Service wasn't warm, but it was fast.

Wow! Horrible experience just now! Went through drive thru, waited an inordinate amount of time, just to have them mess my order up completely! Literally fish sticks instead of a burger. I did not think to check the order since it was literally a drive thru and there was only one car ahead of me! I went all the way home and was so disappointed. I brought it back and when I indicated they should cover the burger, she literally said "we don't give out free food." That was their response to me, a local and regular customer. I will never be back.

DE-licious get you a deluxe cheese, maybe some bacon and an order of fries or maybe some curly fries if you're feeling fancy. Never goes wrong.

Omg I am obsessed with Village Drive In in SacTown in Tahoe Park. If you haven't been, you're missing out so go check it out. The cheeseburgers are yummilicious, the fries are so delish. Very clean inside and out. Soft serves are ahhhmazingly delish
