December 2024, Monthly price: $130.Just joined about a few weeks ago. So far so good. Each locker room, you have towel service, men's only sauna steam and hot tub. There's an indoor and outdoor swimming pool and lots of fitness classes. I find this gym pretty clean, locker room shower is clean.I am professional steam room guy, and the steam room is a 2/10, takes 5-10 minutes to get actually hot, the steam room door has a 1 inch gap around the door and lets a lot of heat/steam out of the steam room. The vibe here is like any gym in 2024, a lot of people on their phone not working out. Pro tip: if you want a good workout leave your phone in your locker, it is a HUGE distraction, but easier said than done. Out of 5 workouts I try to do at least 4/5 with the phone in my locker, and every time I work out with my phone it's a bad workout. But anyways but overall I find this gym pretty good, it's clean, and it's not full of children like 24 hour fitness. The only one thing is I like playing basketball, and I almost never see any pickup basketball being played here. Also the current is pretty expensive for most people, if they raised the price I probably would be out on this gym.

If I could give negative stars I would. Here is why: On the surface it looks great but poor management and maintenance make this just a pretentious spot since core aspects of the facility do not work. I have been a member since 2021. The place was new at the time. The specific reason I signed up was that due to a terrible car crash in 2019 (yep still alive and one piece) my medical team pushed me to use a hot tub and steam room access daily due to severe muscular issues. So here we are - I drive 16 miles to get here only to regularly find that NONE of the hot tubs (inside or out or the women's one) are working, nor steam room or sauna. The steam room has been broken sporadically, either entirely off and barely warm or too hot but steam not working. They tried fixing the sensor but since then the button to turn off steam does not work. Don't get me started on the falling apart lights, wood hand bars, or the fact that the space is not cleaned regularly (heat, steam, bacteria - you get it). The women's hot tub is often closed for days on end - currently going on a week. The Women's sauna is either too cold, or the light is broken, or the door is broken or when fixed poorly done so it does not close. The women's showers half of them have no hot water or barely warm water. The indoor/outdoor hot tub is often luke warm. I have several times had to alert staff to dead rodents in the pool. I wish I could say that the staff and service make up for it. Don't let how they treat you when you are touring or signing up fool you. Or the robotic greeters at the front counter. The managers are authoritative and non customer oriented and snappy. Customer concerns are shrugged off (I had to notify staff 5 days in a row about broken facilities and then ended up seeking out the actual facility manager himself before I could get anyone to act.) Let me rephrase - they treat members like underlings and have an impatient and dismissive attitude. The only helpful staff are the younger staff hire, but they all shrink when approached and appear fearful of getting in trouble. Considering the fees, one has to ask - WHERE IS OUR MAINTENANCE VILLA SPORT? WTF!!!!!Update: I had a conversation with their assistant general manager who was actually open to feedback and listened to my concerns despite me being, honestly, quite frustrated. He was understanding and eager to assist me, and assured me they are trying to update maintenance and fix issues. While I could have asked for a fee reduction and he seemed open to trying to make this right, I did not. It's not about the fees. It's about making sure that the facilities we pay for work, are hygienic and in good order. While I felt I was heard, and he was quite supportive, I am keeping my 1 star review until I see there are improvements. I know in large businesses a single person can't effect change, and while I deeply appreciated his thoughtfulness and support, I'd love to see change which I know is bigger than a single decision maker. Time will tell... but I'm not sure if I'll be a member long enough to see things better.

We have been members of this gym for a little over two months, and during that time, both of my children have contracted norovirus. As a stay-at-home parent, our only regular exposure to public settings is at the gym. In addition, My 2-year-old recently consumed 2 week old expired yogurt and chips from the Café and subsequently experienced food poisoning, which developed into norovirus, confirmed by her pediatrician. Only noticed the date because I went back after the fact and checked the dates. I've reached out via email and phone calls twice, but have received no response, so I am sharing this to inform other members.Additionally, two days ago, my infant was crawling in the daycare when a 2-3-year-old child stomped on her hand, then proceeded to snatch a toy from her. I observed this incident on the upstairs cameras. I am concerned as to why a crawling infant is in the same area as older, more active children. When I raised this issue, the response was dismissive. Furthermore, my toddler was hit on the head with a door, and the only reason I became aware was because I noticed a red mark and bruise on her forehead and had to ask staff for an explanation. On a positive note, every other amenity is great. No problems working out or with the staff.Update: Covid is now going around that gym so just be aware. Several of members have just recently shared their symptoms and tests.

My dad's entire wallet was emptied while his belongings were in a locker at the gym. He went straight from home to the gym, locked his belongings, and after his workout, returned home--only to realize that everything inside his wallet had been taken. There was no one around when he locked the locker, and when he returned, it was still locked. The only logical explanation is that a staff member with a master key accessed the locker and took the contents.I spoke with a manager named Christian, who promised to file an investigation and get back to me within 24 hours--but never head back or got any notifications. I called again the next day and received the same empty promises, yet no follow-up. There is no corporate phone number available, making it even harder to escalate the issue.I have been a lifetime member since 2015 and have never experienced something like this before. It's extremely disappointing, and I am seriously considering canceling my membership because it no longer feels safe. To make matters worse, my husband recently overheard another member complaining to the staff that items went missing from his bag while it was locked in a locker!I hope this review gets the attention of corporate because this should not be difficult to investigate--they should be able to check who had access to the master key that day. Unfortunately, it seems like they just don't care

Only things works at Villa is their credit card machines.- No clean towels.- No alcohol wipes.- Blinking disco sauna lights due. Safety hazzards.- Takes forever to fix machines, sauna.- Dirty showers and etc. Health hazzard.- No paper towels, toilet papers, and toilet seat covers. Cheap products.- Red warnings on water filters.- Never post in advance or enforce court schedules.- Never listens the members. - Have wasted members time repeatedly.- Never cleans out the lockers overnight. Please don't join Villa.Clueless and the worst management and the ownership. All the good workers have moved to Villa's competitors.
