Their wet Burrito was Huge and delicious..And their pozole. Was fantastic..We are so happy we found a restaurant that serves home style cooked Mexican food.

We ordered catering for my birthday and it was absolutely delicious. We had bean, rice, carne asada, chicken and pork with salsa. So many compliments at the party and leftovers were just as good! Highly recommend

This past May, the Valenzuela family expanded their food truck and catering business and opened up a brick n mortar restaurant in Cameron Park. It's called Valenz Mexican Kitchen. They specialize in Sinaloa Mexican food . It's a sit down restaurant with a family friendly vibes. The menu is compact for now with intentions to expand. The street tacos are tasty. Taste like home cooking. I dropped in on a lazy Sunday afternoon and sat at the bar. The bar had several TVs with various NFL games on. We ordered Mexican cokes in a bottle as well as bottle Jarritos to quench our thirst. Food wise, we ordered street tacos as well... steak and carnitas. The meats were tender and had nice simple flavors. They also serve complimentary chips and salsa. The chips had the look and taste of store bought chips but that salsa. The salsa was darn tasty, fantastic flavors.

Awesome people and excellent food! I had the chili verde plate, the best I've had in a very long time! The chili relleno and chili verde wet burrito was also off the hook fabulous! You won't go away hungry here! This is our new go to Mexican restaurant!!

Best Mexican food in Cameron Park. Family friendly "made us feel like we were part of the family. This will be our "go to" spot.

We tried Valenz last night and had a good dinner! Simple, classic menu - fresh ingredients - family recipes all good. Prices are reasonable, service is friendly. Great option for a classic casual meal!

First timer and will be back. We shared the chicken burrito which was huge. Full of delicious chicken, rice, beans ,cheese and cilantro. Truly a family owned business. Entire family works there and the pride in ownership is obvious. Will be back to try other menu items.

I just had lunch here and it was excellent! The service was awesome - friendly, helpful and attentive without being overbearing. The chips were thick and crispy which I liked - salsa was very good. I ordered a carnitas torta ($16) and it was one of the best I've had. Giant, tender meat, with beans! A lot of places don't put beans in torta but that is always my preference. They don't have an alcohol license right now but signage indicates they're working on it. Prices are not cheap, but nothing is these days. I am happy to support these guys with all my taco money, and hope they stick around.

The staff was super friendly, and the food was great! We got the chile relleno burritos wet and they were delicious. Super big and priced well for how much food you get out of it. We also got some food to go and they kindly made it while we ate and packed it up for us. I don't think they make their own chips, but I wish they did because that would be the cherry on top! We will definitely go back.

Although there have been many good reviews, my experience was not as good. The food was bland, and the chips were store-bought. There are better Mexican restaurants in the area.
