Easy to miss from the street, but once you've found it you've struck gold. Lived in AZ, SoCal, and NorCal most of my adult life and consider myself a strict judge of good Mexican food. I'm not joking, this might be some of the best Mexican food I've ever had. Even the rice and beans elicited an "oh my..." after a bite. Had carne asada tacos plate. Also tried the barbacoa tacos and side of guacamole. All top tier.

First time here. Ordered the super shrimp burrito and was told all the great things that came on it, including guacamole. Whelp, there was certainly a lot of cilantro and zero guacamole. The burrito was ok. The prices are pretty good and they sell slaughtered animals in the butcher shop next door. There were two walks of pastries that you grab and pay for in the store. Not sure I would come back.

When you come to this carniceria you don't expect to find some of the best homemade tortillas and authentic Mexican food. This is my go to place when I'm in the area. This time I tried the machaca con huevo, it was amazing. It's shredded beef with onions, tomatoes, jalapenos, and eggs. It's a Mexican scramble as I would call it. The beef was crispy on the outside but tender when you take a bite. The home made tortillas are by far the best way to pair this dish, the beans are refried but not oily. The rice had the perfect amount of seasoning. This place is a not that big, so get here early in the morning if you plan on dining in. The service is better now, from when I first started coming here.Try it out, they have so many different dishes that no matter what you're craving you will find something, and everything I have tried has been delicious

My son had his senior pictures taken around dinner time so we looked up a place close by that served birria tacos. Valencia's Carnicería popped up on yelp with good reviews. We walked in and noticed the pan dulce display and that it was attached to the carnicería and store. The restaurant was busy - only a few tables were open. We didn't see the birria tacos on the menu, but noticed that they were a special of the week. We were hoping we would still be able to order them.We approached the counter and our in our order (2 orders of 3 birria tacos and a side order of beans and rice. The cashier was kind of gruff...not super friendly. We noticed there was a chips and salsa bar and so we partook in that nice amenity. We sat down and waited for about 8 minutes before we got our food. Not too bad. But the beans/rice took about 5 minutes longer. The tacos did not come out crispy. That was a bummer. By the time we got to the third taco (they were layered on top of each other), it was super soggy and hard to even pick up. The consommé was decent, but we didn't finish it so. The meat content was average - didn't fill up the taco, but wasn't sparse either. My son thought the beans/rice were mid. He left more than half of it on the plate which is unusual for him.We live almost an hour away, so we probably wouldn't come back because of the distance. But after the lackluster experience, we definitely won't make a special trip out.

We went there with the family to celebrate one of kids birthday this past summer. The food was absoluteIy delicious . Made with fresh ingredients and great quality. I got their breakfast burrito on DoorDash. It was awesome. I will be taking the wife over there sometime soon. Worth checking out! Their shop and carniceria is pretty great as well. We will be going back for sure. Too much good stuff!!

This is a fantastic local business. A Taqueria on one side and a Carniceria on the other side. People are fantastic and the food is excellent. Competitively priced and delicious! I highly recommend.

Valencia's Carniceria Taqueria is serving tasty tacos with an ambiance unlike any other place I've been - it felt like I've been transported to a Mexican tavern with pastries, meat market, grocery store, and a taco shop all under one roof. Service is friendly and fast. Cucumber water and Salsa bar are self serve. 5/5 Carnitas: so flavorful and tender5/5 lengua: so tender with a subtle beef flavor5/5 Birria con queso: flavorful, tender, cheesy4/5 Al Pastor: flavorful, a bit tougher than the other cutsAll the tortillas were so soft Parking is available in the lot.If I'm back in the area I'd come back in a heartbeat!

I was searching for fresh ceviche and stumbled upon this place on Yelp! It's a Carniceria so they sell lots of fresh meat and fish along with a small store or various Mexican ingredients! They have a nice chips and salsa bar and the atmosphere is very nice! Workers are friendly and the man up front is very kind and always cleaning around. It's a very clean place! I love the avocado salsa and pico and my favorite taco is the fish and the Birria!
