Vacaville Opera House

The Vacaville Opera House is the best place to get married in Solano county! It is so beautiful and clean and fancy! They take care of so many things for you that are included in the package- rehearsal, bartending, set up, clean up, coordinating vendors day of, decorating etc...! Catherine the manager and wedding planner is awesome! She is so friendly, professional and helpful! She made sure that every detail was better than we even discussed! She was invaluable to us during the wedding planning, rehearsal, ceremony and reception! The resounding sentiment and statement was "Best Wedding Ever"! Thank you Sandra and Catherine for such a wonderful venue in downtown Vacaville! God bless you!

The venue is exceptionally pretty with padded chiavari gold chairs, exposed brick walls and crystal chandeliers. Very tastefully decorated so that it would match any color scheme & theme.The Staff was phenomenal!Catherine kept everything under control and rolling smoothly. No detail was missed. I cant say enough nice things about them. They were very genuine in wanting me to have a wedding just as I had envisioned and we're really good at giving me advice and tips. My phone calls and emails work quickly answered and they always made me feel that I was in good hands It's in a perfect location for outside photos and had plenty of public parking.

We cannot express how happy we are to have found the Vacaville Opera House for our September wedding. The venue is a gorgeous space with wonderful and professional staff, creating a perfect experience. Like many of our guests, we did not know such a gem existed in this area. It is located in the city's historical downtown, with plenty of parking for guests and an adjacent community park with lots of trees, flowers and bridges (for photos). We held both our ceremony and reception here for 120 guests, with plenty of space for dinner, dancing, and socializing. Nicole was an absolute pleasure to work with during the planning stages; she is very responsive and thorough, quick to respond to and address any concerns or questions along the way. The venue has wedding and event planning down to a "T" and is SUPER organized! This left absolutely nothing for us to worry or stress over; on the day of, Andy and Aisha managed what was our perfect wedding day. Their recommended professional vendors for DJ/entertainment/photo booth (DJ Mike of Premier 6 Events), catering (Erica Marie's Catering), and florist (Dixon Florist) were ALL spot on and excellent to work with as well - thank you!!We highly recommend the Vacaville Opera House, and hope to have the opportunity to return for another event some day!

Be very careful booking here. I had an event here and was not impressed. Rude staff who ended our event earlier than we contracted and wouldn't take responsibility for anything that went wrong. NOTHING. Instead, made us feel like we had no business booking there. Beautiful venue, terrible customer service. There are much better places locally that will be more flexible with you and actually execute the vision that you are asking for.

Nice brick-exposed venue in Downtown Vacaville. As most people do, I attended a wedding here and could see the effort they put into setting up the place and ensuring bride, groom, and guests have a great time. I noticed though that the sound system has some flaws. Technical difficulties almost ruined the couple's first dance, which is probably the last thing that should happen. Bar service was prompt and friendly, and the staff seemed to handle the large amount of guests with ease.

I recently held a Murder Mystery/Masquerade Ball charity event at the Opera House benefiting local schools that needed help funding specific projects (lest the kids grow up and mug me on the street) and hosted it at the Opera House. And I just want to say that it was AWESOME (and that's only partly due to me).Sandra, Nicole, Patty and the entire staff were EXTREMELY helpful throughout my planning process, even though I was flying by the seat of my pants for most of it. They took care of the linens, dishes, setting up, taking down, the whole nine. They even played along with the murder mystery when the maid got whacked (spoiler alert: the chauffeur did it). The venue itself is beautiful, and while there are some rules about how crazy you can go with decorating, you can see why they'd want to preserve the beauty of the place. I can't speak highly enough of Sandra and her team; they helped me get this thing off the ground without a hitch. THANK YOU!!

We recently had our 25th wedding anniversary here. From meeting Sandra and Janet on the initial visit. We immediately knew we would be in excellent hands. For our final paperwork we finished with Nicole. These three women are beyond awesome. The venue is spectular. Their kindness and professionalism was consistent throughout. If you want a stress free beautiful environment. This is the place to book. Their preferred vendor list provided us with the best caterer you can have. From Scratch With Love and I already had the best baker ever Studiosweets. Which she is also on their preferred vendor list. The day of the party we had the pleasure to meet and work with Pat, Veronica, and i think Mary. They are so awesome. I didnt have any complaints or worry. Just a wonderful experience from start to finish. I so appreciate any and all staff members that helped make our day very special. Were forever grateful

Opera house has been apart of vacaville for a very long time and will for many years to come just because how things are run and maintained by the professional staff and management.Thanks again.

I couldn't have asked for a better venue. My engagement party was so beautiful all my friends and family called it my mini wedding. The staff was incredible and made the whole process so simple. I HIGHLY recommend the opera house for any party.
