Urban Rolls Roseville

I love Vietnamese food and have been curious about Urban Rolls. I finally stopped in for lunch on a Saturday for my very first visit.As we headed to the counter to view the menu on the screens above, we noticed 8 tables and a clean interior. After placing our order and taking our seats, we had sat down only a few moments when a server brought us silverware, pho condiments, and water. Water was served in stainless steel cups that kept our beverages nice and cold.The flavor of the broth was delicious. Meat was generous as were the onions, scallions, and cilantro, and I was happy they remembered my request for extra jalapeños. Soup temp was just under piping hot but that didn't keep me from enjoying my soup. One bummer was my rare steak could not be served on the side. I was then hoping to see maybe medium-rare or medium pieces of steak in my bowl. But much to my dismay, the meat pieces looked boiled to death. Oh well, at least the flank steak was pleasant. The pho was accompanied by a side of sriracha and hoi sin sauce both in the same small cup, and a bowl containing bean sprouts, basil, jalapeño slices, and a lime wedge. Perfect.My lunch date chose the rice plate with a pork chop and crispy pork. Generous portion, fish sauce was on point, and he enjoyed his meal very much. Food came out fast and service was pleasant. We both look forward to our next visit.

Love this place. Local and clean. The food is always fresh and hot. The cashier who took my order (Ben/Hue) he is very friendly and recommended what to order. I ordered the popular S1, combo pho. It was comforting, the broth was clear and flavorful.I will come back again. Thank you Urban Rolls

I ordered a vermicelli salad with grilled pork to go. The meat could've had more char and some of the pieces were fatty. I also wished there was more noodles instead of so much bean sprouts. It won't be my go to Vietnamese, but it was a good/ fresh meal overall.

Really good food. We had the banh mi and pho, and it's yummy! It's our first time here and Will keep coming back for more.

Delicious lunch stop - vermicelli noodle salad with grilled chicken and a grilled pork bahn mi hit the spot. The noodle salad was flavorful and a large portion - tad pricey at $16 but took some home for later. The bahn mi ($10) had very tender meat with crisp cucumber thin spears, crunchy carrots and slaw. The baguette was fresh, nicely toasted and held up well to the filling. There was only 1 jalapeño on each half so will ask for more next time. Service was prompt and friendly. The space is clean but very basic and industrial.

3rd visit. Pho with steak, chicken and shrimp. Okay flavor. Lemongrass was particularly piquant. Broth a bit on watery side. But there was some chicken skin oil floating on top. The Thai basil and lime slice added some freshness. The mung bean sprouts were fresh and crunchy. I live down the street. Just as a convenience I'll probably eat here often.

I have come here a couple of times and have gotten the grilled pork and the crispy pork. The portions are huge and everything is so fresh with cucumbers and pickled veggies. The fish sauce you pour over the top is delicious as well. The restaurant itself is pretty small, but it's really clean. Would come back for more.

Heard this spot was good. The food was decent but came in large portions. The chilli oil wontons, are not regular chilli wontons, they are more soupy. The fried tofu was super bland and expensive. Ambiance is very sterile with no decor on the walls other than metal chairs and seats. Pho was decent but could be improved in terms of quality of meat. Overall a 5/10!
