Umrah Market

Second time having afghani food... back to back days... and WOW. This blew the other restaurant out of the park. There is a GENEROUS amount of juicy, delicious, flavorful lamb and the bread was soft the perfect level of chewiness. Salad was solid but I really like the spice to the sauce! I wanted to get another one as soon as I took the first bite. Coming back next week!!

If you are looking for customer service, forget about it, it just does not exist. The food is mediocre at best. If you like standing at the register and being completely ignored, then this is the place to be. My food was ordered to go. While I was standing there trying to get someone's attention, my food already paid for and ready to go, stood behind the counter for more than 10 mins. This when all that needed to be done was hand me the bag with the food in it.Very unorganized, products are all over the place. To get food you have to order on one place, it gets cooked in a different corner and the restaurant is in another corner.Sorry to leave such a review but this is my honest opinion.

Finally came back to this new market located near the Florin Farmers Market in the complex with Wal Mart. Nice Afghani Market with a butcher shop, bakery, and textiles (clothing and by-the-yard fabric for sewing). There's also an in-house kitchen that makes food to go or eat there at one of about 6 booths located to the side. A friend and I had the chicken and the lamb kebabs for lunch today. The come wrapped in the house-made fresh flat bread with slices of fresh red onion, tomato, and cucumbers. Very delicious and filling.For drinks, you can order hot water and choose one of three different dry teas at a self-serve table. Or, you can purchase a soda in the cold box to enjoy with your food.I will definitely be back to try the other items on the menu.

I got the Qabli Mahicha Pallow and it was so good, very authentic. The portion size is amazing for the price. Mr.Fared, the owner, and Mr.Meya were very accommodating to me. I will definitely go back. I would recommend this place to others.

This is my favorite place for Afghan food. Rizo the chef is the absolute best! I usually get the chicken kabob and quabli pulao but really everything here is good. They have groceries, clothes, and carpets as well. They stay busy so you have a bit of a wait time but the food is always fresh off the grill.

last week we took our guests for lunch to Umrah Market /Restaurant. The Kababs and other foods was so delicious. the hosts were so friendly and hospitable. we enjoyed the foods there , we are intended to go there very often.

Food is so good! Im filipino Ive been getting food here for straight 3 sundaysMy recommendations are Qabuli pulao , kofta , cornish hen! Yummmy you guys should try it out

Food is delicious! Authentic flavor and taste! Sultan was great and very accommodating!

Nasty disgusting place, came in to store ordered sat down and saw a cockroach we didn't think anything of it but we saw a bunch of more gross insects and cockroaches on tables seats and everywhere else. We didn't try the food because we left after seeing all of those cockroaches we told the person at the counter and he said that he sprayed the spray to get cockroaches out so that's why they are out but I wouldn't believe it, even if that's true it's still disgusting.

The food and prices are fair. But they make me buy these walnuts saying they're wry fresh and you'll miss an opportunity if you don't buy. There were very bad.
