Mother & I played with Kathleen (on the front), and gobbled up the remaining sunlight on the back to play through 13. Although engaging, the layout also avoids many gimmicks to provide a more fair dynamic. Your shot will be rewarded with the ability it's struck. Playable indeed. Looking forward to a round during the peak of Summer, when all foliage is destined to be thriving!

March 2024. My first time here. Friendly and helpful guy at cashier in pro shop. Pro shop merchandise displayed nicely. Golf caps cost $37. So I stopped looking at anything else. Arrived for 1:20pm tee time. Place is packed. Three foursomes in front of me at first tee box. They told me as a single to go ahead and hurry up to the second hole. So I get cheated out of playing the first hole. Not a good omen.Met up with the 2nd hole guys who were friendly and welcoming. Old duffers who can't play golf worth a $#!+. We laugh, we cry, complain and cajole. They quit after the ninth hole. I join another group on hole #10. Golf ensues.Impression: This course is fairly difficult. I'm an 11 handicap. I felt challenged. Most tee boxes, can't see the shot target down range due to hilly terrain, trees and doglegs. Hitting drives on advice and faith. I lost 5 balls in tall weedy rough not far off fairways. Found 4 balls. The course conditions are above average. Nice fairways, consistent turf. Fast greens. The scenery is pretty. Golf cart in good working condition. Time to complete the loop is 4 hours 15 minutes.Started at 1:00pm. Twilight green fee of $45 with cart. Competitive price with other local golf courses.I'll happily return (After I improve my shot accuracy).

This review pertains solely regarding the customer service and pricing. Played here several times. Booked a tee time online for three of us through their website for $57 each a week ago. Checking in today at the pro shop, the rate is $77 due to holiday they said. I understand that today is a holiday. But it is not the customer's fault that they do not update their website rates and should honor the reserved price. I paid the holiday rate but will no longer be coming to this course due to this poor customer experience.

I wanted to write a review to hopefully offset some of the negative comments about the staff here. My wife and I live in Reno and come over the hill to play here a few times a year. The staff at the Pro shop have been some of the nicest individuals we have ever encountered. Very friendly and helpful every single time we have played there. Same goes for on course attendant/marshal, and the restaurant personnel. The course is well kept, challenging. Do yourself a favor and check it out. The weather has been too cold to play here in Reno and we will be there this weekend. Looking forward to a fun day.

After reading the reviews from some people I had to chime in. I've been playing here for a year and have seen amazing changes to the course. They staff goes out of their way to be accommodating and the conditions are really REALLY good now. I'm very happy to call this my home course.

Went to play 18. Its was playing slow!! No big deal it happens. After groups in front of me took off I soon found out the problem. There was a group of 7 kids playing. They only had 3 carts. So one kid who was barefoot was riding on the side of the cart. Caught up to all of them teeing off thinking they'd offer to let me play through. Nope. So finally I called. They sent out a kid that worked there and told them to split up. They didn't. Kid came back and asked how it's going. I said terrible they are still playing together. He assured me he would split them up and if they didn't comply he would kick them off. Finally they split up into a group of 2 and 5. Yeah that's not going to help. So I left. Told them at the pro shop I was leaving because of the ongoing incident. The girl at the desk just said I'm sorry that happened to you. The end.

Lessons with Seth Schmalenberger were great! He took time to work with our individual strengths and weaknesses and helped both my husband and me improve our golf swings. He explained changes and processes very simply - highly recommend!!

a fun course. great value for the money. staff is top-notch. greens were in great shape. played in the heat of summer and the fairways were a bit too wet for my liking.

We had our Baby shower at the golf course restaurant. This is a beautiful space for events. Hosted about 70 people. The Service was excellent, food was great. The management was amazing to work with and worked with our needs for decorations and table arrangements. Highly recommend this space for events.

This a fantastic, fun, course. It has a country club feel at muni prices. There are no houses on the course and it has a bucolic vibe. There are multiple tee boxes and the holes make you think. Just a wonderful course.
