Tupi Coffee

This was the first stop on our date night! We had been trying to check this spot out for the last 3 months but each time arriving at closing time. When we walked in, we were hit bright colors, plants and beautiful floral wall art. Our nose started to tingle from the aroma of coffee. We didn't try the coffee (a must next time) but the smell was amazing. We were greeted and asked if we wanted to sit downstairs or upstairs. We chose upstairs. As we past the counter I notice food. Haha The employee and I locked eyes and he said that's our Brazilian Pastel. I replied "can we order food upstairs". Haha The rooftop is a vibe. Soft music in the background! A great view of midtown and downtown. Upstairs does have a different menu but you can order food from downstairs. We ordered the Brazilian Chicken Pastel, hummus and two drinks (Caipirinha Lime and Caipirinha Pineapple). The Pastel was flakey and warm inside. It was seasoned very well. The drinks were strong! I had the pineapple Caipirinha. Don't use a straw! Haha The hummus was pretty good too. The service was great! The waiters/server did a great job checking in on us. Definitely, a great date night spot. It's a coffee spot with a twist.

Rolled by based on my Drs recommendation and glad I did. Tupi's is a quaint spot and offers the standard fare of pastries, sandwiches and hot and cold drinks. There's only one staff person here this morning and it's relatively busy. The young man is doing his best and he's awfully kind. Definitely recommend the staff scheduler to look at the morning receipts to consider scheduling an additional staff person during the mornings. Tupi's is accessible for everyone. Plenty of indoor seating with tables that a wheelchair user can glide into comfortably. Outdoor seating is aplenty and accessible as well. The indoor environment is cool. Music playing at the right volume which allows for conversation. Matcha Latte made to order with a shot of espresso is decent. Not piping hot but hot enough. The raspberry cheese danish is cold. Not warmed up and not offered. Not a deal breaker. Tupi's is near a couple of state and medical buildings within walking/rolling distance. I recommend this little shop. Also they offer an evening vibe with cocktails, beer, live music and Tapas. Definitely worth checking out.

My newfound love is Tupi!With plenty of street parking around, Tupi is easy to locate with a gorgeous mural on the storefront. The inside is just as beautiful with bright and airy atmosphere, plants, and clean tables. The staff is incredible and service has always been quick. I've only tried the Moreno drink so far, and it is magnificent. It reminds me of chocolate milk in the best way possible.

Actually best mocha I've had in awhile! It's not overly dosed with chocolate. I got it with oat milk. Highly recommend. It's a really cute spot and the vibe is friendly with plenty of seating.

I recently visited this charming Brazilian coffee spot, and I'm so glad I did! From the moment I walked in, the warm, welcoming vibe made me feel right at home. The ambiance is perfect, with cozy seating and subtle Brazilian decor that really adds to the experience. Whether you're looking for a place to relax or get some work done, it's ideal. The staff was also friendly. The coffee and Brazilian snacks like pao de quiejo and coxinha were fantastic. They do offer some cool events on their rooftop that I want to check out. Highly recommend this place to anyone who loves great coffee and a unique cultural experience. I'll definitely be back!

I've been here twice. Cute business on the corner of 8th and S. There's street parking and it's next to Southside Park. My first visit was good, second one wasn't. The first time, I ordered a latte. When I first tasted my latte, I wasn't overimpressed, but the flavor grew on me as I continued to drink. Sufficiently provided me with (more than) the caffeine necessary to make it through my workday. Service was friendly. It took a while for my order to be taken, but once it was my drink was out pretty instantaneously.In contrast, my 2nd visit was an all-around disaster, starting with the service. The person at the counter stood there, then stepped back about 5-10 seconds after I approached to order and clearly wanted the other person working to take my order. There was no welcome; there was no thanks given. (I received a much more pleasant greeting from the homeless person down the street who enthusiastically said hello to me as I walked by, and he's not paid to be in customer service.) I ordered a Moreno. It tasted like sugar milk, not a hint of coffee. Based on the service I received that day, I wouldn't be surprised if the drink was made with the same amount of effort (no effort).I thought Tupi would be taking a lot of my money in the future (since it's in a convenient location for me). However, service matters a lot to me. I'll give them another couple of tries before I decide if I'm going to pick another business over Tupi to fulfill my coffee needs when Downtown.

Everything was good! Service was really quick and nice and friendly. Lots of seating and a nice environment to hang out inside.

Tupi Coffee has been on my list of places to try and I finally had the chance to! I came here on Saturday with my pup and I love how it's so dog friendly. Your pups can even come inside and hang out with you while you're eating and drinking.I decided to try the Moreno iced. We ordered a couple of things to try off the menu. We got the ham and egg breakfast sandwich, cheese bread, ham and cheese risoles, corn and cheese risoles, and coxinha. It was our first time having Brazilian empanadas so of course we had to basically try everything. I liked the Moreno as it had different flavors that worked well together and it wasn't too sweet, but I could definitely taste the chocolate! The breakfast sandwich was yummy and I loved how it actually had greens in it! The brioche was flaky, bacon was crispy, and egg was fluffy. The empanadas were yummy! My boyfriend's favorite was the cheese bread the most. It was cheesy and had a mochi consistency. I looked the ham and cheese risoles the best. We both agreed we could have skipped the coxinha, but glad we tried.Overall, love the atmosphere and vibe inside. They even have a rooftop! The food came out quickly and everyone was just so friendly.

Such a cute Brazilian coffee spot! They serve more than coffee, but we made the trip for the coffee today! Two of us had the Moreno coffee (hot), a friend tried the Moreno (iced), and the birthday girl tried the Mocha. We all enjoyed our drinks and wish we weren't so stuffed from lunch to try some of their Brazilian snacks!Love the modern vibes. We sat at the rooftop, which unfortunately didn't have heat lamps :( and it was chilly. So that's one thing I would love to see them add.They have a rooftop bar that wasn't opened when we went, but I see that setting a groovy rooftop tone in the spring and summer!

I just came from the farmers market with my boyfriend and was surprised that only one worker was running back and forth. She was making drinks and food. We only got two drinks and got them in less than 10 minutes. Despite how busy it was, one of the baristas Sophia was super nice and respectful. The rooftop added a nice touch to the place too with great views.
