I love coming to Tru Bowl! The place is always spotless! I love that they have an incredible variety of bases, toppings, and the freshest/ juiciest fruit. You can really customize your bowl exactly how you want it. I also tried one of their protein shakes, the OG Blend with peanut butter crumbs, and it was amazing! Perfectly blended, super flavorful, and a great post-workout pick-me-up.On top of that, the owners are so sweet, and the staff is always welcoming and friendly. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers. If you're looking for a high quality acai bowl or protein shake/ drink spot, this is it!

This place is AMAZING!!Everything is so fresh and made in front of you, the staff is so friendly and the presentation of the bowls is so good. People have asked me where I got it when walking back to my car because they look just as good as they taste! The space is clean with a beautiful mural, tons of options for food/drinks, and they even have sea moss! The owners are the sweetest people as well. I'm here at least once a week because it's just that good!

Nestled in the Palladio plaza next to Vampire Penguin & Seaquest is this cute smoothie / açaí bowl shop. I've been wanting to try them since I saw they were opening in Folsom and glad I finally got to check it out. Love the murals painted inside, repping the great 916. They have a variety of smoothies, protein blend smoothies, and acai bowls to choose from. They also sell jarred sea moss. It was hard to make a choice because everything sounded so good. I decided to go with their popular protein blend drink which is The OG and it did not disappoint. It was so good, I could taste all the delicious items in there - bananas, peanut butter, chocolate, and I believe it has peanut chunks as well. It wasn't overwhelming either, it was just really good. The only downside is this spot is in Folsom which is a drive for me but I look forward to coming back and trying their other items.

I debated between 3 and 4. But considering I'll be generous. Staff was really nice. We stopped by after a movie. It was like 7pm. They could've turned us away but offered to make a drink. We got the popular peanut butter protein drink. It tasted like almond peanut butter. It wasn't badThe main criticism why I considered 4 stars:It's a superfood bar. The website advertises health and wellness. Simple ingredients. And the one we ordered was labeled as protein. It cost $9 or so for a small. There wasn't any nutritional information. I asked the staff and was told there wasn't one. Yes there's a list of simple ingredients. But for health. Wellness and superfood. There should be nutritional information:Calorie count. ProteinVitaminsCarbsFatsFiberEtc. Something to really help justify the price and the name.

My family and I were here the other day just to try. We must have come at a busy time because there was a line and the wait was a little longer than I had hoped. Tips: Order at the counter and try your hand at customizing your own acai bowl! If you're looking for a post-workout drink or bowl, they have lots of options! We ordered the Rio Bowl for our kids to share and my husband and I ordered custom bowls. The small size is definitely a good size for one individual. The ingredients were fresh and I loved that the toppings are limitless! I enjoyed seeing their base options (My fav are the acai, chia and ube options) and their granola varieties were quite impressive! Loved their fruit options (I picked kiwi since we don't eat it often and blueberries bc they looked so fresh). Lots of seating options and the place is pretty clean! Definitely would come back again.

This spot surpassed expectations. Let's just start with the service. The guy who helped us was so nice and helped us order everything just right. He also was kind about my allergies and intolerances (no eye rolling). The bowls were plated as beautifully as an expert flower arrangement. We sat and ate inside which was nice and clean. The bowls and smoothies were so delicious. The bowls were so filling that we saved our smoothies for later and they were just as good out of the fridge the next day. I honestly can't wait to go back.

I saw a video on IG and thought it looked pretty good. Confirmed now that I've tried their acai bowl it is good! It's located next to Vampire Penguin and Seaquest. Spacious interior with a few tables and benches to dine in. There were about 5 orders ahead of me so it took about a 15 minute wait for my bowl. They have a pretty large menu of bowls and drinks to choose from. There's also an option to create your own bowl.I went with The Rio Bowl. It sounded the most classic to me with acai base, hemp granola, strawberries, blueberries, bananas, coconut, hemp hearts, and honey. I really enjoyed it! All the textures were great. The crunch of the granola and hemp hearts were nice paired with the smooth acai base. The acai was delicious and refreshing. I liked that the consistency was more solid thick. I don't like how some acai bowls it's a rush to eat before it becomes all melted and soupy. So their acai base was perfect for me. I feel like I could've taken it to-go and it would've been fine too.Great addition to Palladio! Now that I know a basic acai bowl is yummy there, I look forward to trying a more adventurous bowl combination next time!

I got the chance to visit this spot on a Wednesday afternoon. It's located in the Palladio. It was fairly busy inside but quiet still. The place and their kitchen were super clean. Staff was super friendly and helpful. I liked that they all wore gloves as well. They had lots of variety on their menu and prices were the same as similar spots I've visited. I added sea moss to a basic açaí bowl for the health benefits. I found that overall It hid the texture and flavor very well.

Pack a bowl at Tru Bowl Superfood Bar in Folsom, California. When you do this, you will not be disappointed. The bowls are BEAUTIFUL and the healthy ingredients are delicious. You cannot go wrong with a build your own bowl option. The customization allows you to craft a bowl to your liking. The signature bowls are also something to consider. I got a signature Buttah Lova which I learned was one of their most popular bowls. Upon arrival, you'll be greeted and the employees are really good about giving recommendations and options to their customers. This location is filled with art and is clean. I highly recommend you check out Tru Bowl. There's plenty of parking in the front of back. I find the parking in the back to be less of a hassle. Check out Tru Bowl Superfood Bar in Folsom.

Tru Bowl just opened their first NorCal location, and how lucky it's just a 30 minute drive away from us! They have a great location at the Palladio, it's a bit farther away from the main stores but it is next to the bigger restaurants like Red Robin and Dave and Buster's and right next to Seaquest, so they should get a lot of foot traffic! It's nicely decorated inside with a large Sacramento themed mural and a neon sign for those perfect Instagram photos! Service was great. The owners were so kind and took a moment to chat with us and tell us about their menu. There are so many different options to choose from whether you want a smoothie, protein smoothie, or a smoothie bowl..so we got one of each! Cali Vibe- this was my favorite of the three because you can't even tell there is protein in here! Normally protein smoothies have that chalky aftertaste but I would not have been able to tell at all for this one. I love the fresh strawberry puree too.Moon Matcha Latte- organic oat milk matcha latte topped with blue spirulina. Such a pretty drink! Stir in the blue spirulina for a pretty blue matcha. Still has the delicious matcha flavor and I appreciated that it comes with oat milk already!Dragon Slayer- I picked this for the pretty color and cool name but it tasted great and you can't go wrong with pitaya. This one is a good option for a starter smoothie if you don't know what to order.Smoothie bowl with acai, blu majik, and coconut base, dragonfruit chia seed pudding, honey granola, fresh fruits, date syrup, and cacao nibs- you can pick up to 3 bases for the small which is awesome! You can go up to 4 or 5 for the medium and large sizes. I love how many options there are but my favorite topping was the chia seed pudding. Can't wait to come back to try the ube base, unfortunately they were out this time around! The small was plenty for us and I even saved the rest for later. It's super filling with all of the fruit but you don't feel heavy afterward! If you don't want to pick ingredients then you can choose a premade smoothie bowl option. My only complaint is that Tru Bowl isn't in Elk Grove!! But will definitely be coming back when we are at the Palladio again!
