I'm not sure why this place has less than 4.5 stars. It's AMAZING. Super busy, so be prepared for a long wait. We ordered the taco salad and it was enough for us to split with chicken and steak. I absolutely loved the pinto beans at the bottom and the shell was so tasty. This is where I fell in love with the hibiscus aqua Fresca. I'd honestly never given a shot before, but this was the best place to have my very first one and I will be returning just for that drink honestly along with the taco salad.

I used to enjoy this place, but I am extremely disappointed with the treatment we received during my birthday dinner yesterday. The service was unacceptable, and I was so upset that I contacted the owner directly. I will not be returning or referring any friends or family here until this situation is addressed and corrected. Below is the message I sent to the owner.! "Hello Miss Saenz,I hope this message finds you well. I'm reaching out to express my disappointment regarding an experience at your restaurant that marred what should have been a joyful celebration of my birthday with my brother, who has just returned from deployment in the Marines. While our waiter was courteous, there was a significant issue with our bill--he mistakenly charged us for another table. My brother, who was treating me for my birthday, was understandably worried about the possibility of being charged twice, as we were informed that a wrong receipt had been issued. Mistakes can occur, but it was the manager Beatrice handling of the situation that was particularly troubling.Instead of addressing our concern with professionalism, she spoke to us in a rude manner and refused to provide a voided receipt. Her assertion that we should simply trust that our funds would be returned was unacceptable. When I requested her name for follow-up purposes with the general manager, Blanca, she not only dismissed my request but also threatened to 86 me from the restaurant. I asked for the owners information and she laughed in my face and said I would NEVER get a chance to talk to the owner. When I explained to her how rude and unprofessional this was she threatened to just walk away while I was talking. This was both humiliating and completely unwarranted, especially as another table witnessed this interaction and commented of how poorly her managerial skills were regarding her behavior. As a loyal customer who has cherished many wonderful memories at your establishment, I am deeply saddened by this experience. It highlights a concerning lack of customer service that could drive patrons away. I believe it is essential for the owner to be made aware of such incidents to ensure this doesn't happen to others. I sincerely hope you take this matter seriously and look into it. Thank you for your attention to this issue.Best regards,Leah Parra"

Great Spot for Tacos and Enchiladas, But Breakfast Was Just OkayMy friends and I decided to have brunch at Tres Hermanas after a morning at the Midtown Farmers Market. This was my first time having breakfast here, as Tres Hermanas is usually my go-to for their delicious tacos and enchiladas.I ordered a tamale with cheese and sunny-side-up eggs, which came with the usual sides. Unfortunately, the tamale wasn't my favorite--it had a lot of masa and very little filling, and the flavor fell a bit flat with just the cheese. Next time, I'll stick with the pork or chicken options, which are usually more satisfying. That said, portions here are always generous, and the service is consistently efficient and friendly. We sat outside on the patio, which made for a pleasant atmosphere. While brunch wasn't the highlight for me, Tres Hermanas remains a solid choice for their classic Mexican dishes.

An establishment of 30 years still consistent to this day. From the service to the salsa to the meal everything is consistent. My favorite dish is the chicken mole poblano & I must have a side of dos res crispy tacos! The flavors are mouthwatering. We spent our 2025 Valentine's Day dinner here. You cannot go wrong with an array of choices. From the carnitas to the verde to the chile relleno to chile Colorado.

The food was authentic and had good flavor, but the consistency was off--my uncle's food came out cold, and he's been here before. It was busy, and the atmosphere was okay. The bartender seemed a little short in demeanor. But definitely get the grilled chicken!

The customer service was great. The location was great and the inside of the restaurant looked great. I ordered the super burrito de asada with rice and bean with a side order of corn tortillas. While my date got the cheese enchilada dinner. The rice, beans and cheese enchiladas were really good and full of flavor in every bite. Sadly, the super burrito de asada was a bit upsetting. It was good, a little above average.

We stopped by Tres Hermanas for lunch and it was ok. I wasn't too hungry and shared the chile Colorado burrito and it was tasty. Very rich and saucy. It wasn't spicy and lacked flavor but the portions are very generous. Chips are complimentary and the salsa is always good and delicious. It was on the louder side since it was during the lunch rush hour. Which we had to sit outside or wait longer. The outside heaters kind of helped. I'll have to go earlier or later but not during the lunch hour.

This was one of my "go to" places for years until my recent trip a couple months back. While the menu hasn't changed much the prices and quality have- and not for the best. Someone once told me that you can tell by the beans what the quality of the rest of the food will be because beans are a staple. And unfortunately it was true for this. The beans lacked flavor, the food was ok - nothing outstanding and definitely not HOT (temperature). For the price and what we got for the dollar, I'm disappointed to say it hasn't kept up its delicious reputation through the years. However, service was standard and we got seated quickly. So I would say it's an average restaurant that's a good location if you need somewhere to go for a casual dining experience.

Been wanting to check out Tres Hermanas for awhile and I wasn't disappointed! Loved the chips and salsa. The red enchiladas were great and the shredded beef was flavorful. Our food came out fast and was piping hot. The servers were all very attentive, too. I understand why this place is always packed when I drive by. I am excited to go back and try other things on the menu!
