Touchstone Brewing Company

This place is RAD! Located in the same parking lot as Pipeworks. They have a huge industrial building that has a bunch of tables. They also have quite a bit of outdoor seating as well. The staff is friendly and helpful. Their beer is GREAT! They have IPAs and SOURs and SELTZERs which we love but they have a good amount of beers to choose from. There's something for everyone here!FOOD: They have some food that you can order at the counter. We got a sandwich and it was good. PARKING: They share the parking lot with Pipeworks and there's always a lot of parking available. TO-GO: They have a list of beers in 4-pks. SWAG: They have quite a bit of swag from bandanas to shirts to long sleeve shirts to hats. I think they should add a metal beer sign to the items for sale ;) I bought a hat and a bandana and I love both! They're great quality and comfortable.

After indoor rock climbing at Pipeworks that shares the same parking lot as Touchstone, we came in to eat and have a beer after we had worked up an appetite. We weren't the only ones with that idea since we noticed other climbers from the gym were also slowly trickling into the brewery after as well too. We ordered the kale salad with chicken and the summer salad also with chicken. The salads were refreshing with huge greens. We enjoyed our beers out on the spacious outdoor patio benches. The salads were a bit pricier being more than $20 each, but since there's no tipping here it actually just leveled out. Looking for a date idea? Why not go climbing at Pipeworks and stop by here for beer and food afterwards, or you could also just skip the climbing part :) Although the brewery felt safe, once we left and drove around the corner we did see a lot of tents and rougher streets. It wouldn't deter me from coming back but just good to be aware of.

Questionable area due to all the homeless people, however once inside fenced areas it was okay. It appeared many customers had just come from the indoor rock climbing space. This a large space with indoor and outdoor seating. Indoors they kept cool with industrial swamp coolers. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. We had a few items on the fence and they guided us up to some amazing food and beer combinations. The staff was also attentive to making sure the tables were kept clean and space was available. We had ordered the Bahn Mi. The flavor was amazing, but I would have liked to have more carrots, dikion, and cucumber added. We had also ordered tri-tip sando, which is the king of their sandwiches. Do not miss the opportunity to try it out. Hdhdgdh jdhd not he has One note is they do not keep their website up to date on what is available on tap. So when you visit we'll need to see what they have available. Eventually, as their business grows I hope they may consider using untapped. Many breweries such as Dustbowl have moved to using this platform to list their current brews.

Came in for a quick dinner before climbing. I ordered the tri tip sandwich. Got a seat at the bench tables inside. The sandwich was wide but shorter than expected. I took the first bite and really couldn't stop. Well put together sandwich with great tastes and flavors. The tri tip was well seasoned. The onions and arugula gave it a nice sweet and nutty taste. The bread was perfectly toasted. I'm not sure what kind of cheese it was but it added a nice warm melty texture. I didn't really taste the cheese other than that. Didn't get a chance ro try the beers but it had really fun names.

What a space! Beautiful open spot for a beer, both inside and out. Had a few pale ales that were delicious, new surf larger was great too. Didn't eat the food on this trip, but it looks great and the menu changes all the time. Definitely recommend this place.

Grabbed their hot honey pepperoni pizza to go. I have to say, it was delicious. I was very surprised since it is a brewery and I would think food isn't their main focus. The pizza was Detroit style with a crunch. It was a great touch.

Food's aite. Staff is helpful and unselfish with the samples. Good selection of beer.

I found this place on my way home and I didn't recognize it so I went to check it out. I only got one drink a pale ale, and it was extremely tasty. The staff let me taste a few before because I was being indecisive which was extremely nice. We came on a trivia day and couldn't stay, but it looks super fun! The location is rather unfortunate as it's located in a place with a bit of "riff raff" but the parking lot is inclosed. I was freezing because the doors were open but they had blankets to borrow which was a nice touch. I definitely want to come back and check out the trivia night and try more beers!

Another vegan friendly brewery! I was pleasantly surprised to find a few vegan offerings on the menu or items that could be modified. Food was fresh, staff very friendly and cool and it has both indoor/outdoor seating. Thanks for offering a few options!

What a great facility! The Hazy "Bear Hug" was awesome and perfect with the Detroit Style Pizza! Service was great of course and the heaters were needed and appreciated ! Oh the extra large tables are pretty fun! This was our second time there, many more to come. Come in from 16th by the way, just saying!
