Great happy hour deals, a relaxed vibe, and outstanding service make this spot a must-visit!A friend recommended it to me and it did not disappoint. Steve, the owner, greeted us warmly and even shared sake bombs with us! We stopped by before a Kings game and had a great time chatting with Steve about the team. The happy hour food (5-7pm weekdays) was delicious and paired perfectly with our drinks. With a big TV showing sports, it's the perfect place to catch a Kings game while enjoying food and drinks.

This is a super unique spot serving up local beer, and an amazing happy hour! It's a bit 90s inspired, with a very laid back vibe. Their hot dogs are definitely a must-try. They have so many to choose from and it was one of the freshest hot dogs I've had recently! The parking situation is pretty complex. There is plenty of 1 hour parking but only a few 2 hour parking spots. You might want to give yourself an extra 5-10 minutes to find a good spot. Overall, it was a fun stop. The bartender was very friendly and passionate about the place. I hope to be back soon!

I can't express how badly I've had been wanting to visit Tomato Alley Free House and how happy I am that I finally made it in AND that it not only lived up to expectations, but exceeded them.I stopped in with a friend right when they opened on a Wednesday evening at 5pm and the vibes were great with music going and only a couple other patrons there. We opted for a table inside- they have bar seating, some indoor tables and some outdoor tables. It was Happy Hour, so drinks and food were on special. (see my photos for the menu) We ordered the Chicago Dog ($9.50) and the Banh Mi Dog ($7 HH, $9.50 regular) and I got a Nitty's Cider ($1 off during HH). The hot dogs looked wonderful and had a great balance of toppings to bun to meat. The hot dogs were cased (the kind that snap when you bite into them) and super flavorful. I also loved how fresh the veggies were on the dogs and that they came with a slice of watermelon. I could see myself hanging here with friends, having a few drinks and enjoying multiple items off the menu. Other than hot dogs they have bao, grilled cheese, tomato soup, quesadillas, panini and some sides like chips and chicharrones. All perfectly paired with a drink.Cole helped us out and was super friendly. We'll definitely be back again!

I only came here for drinks, so next time I'll come for their happy hour food that looks great. The bartenders are friendly. Despite the small area, it was very lively when I came. Drinks are affordable and they have specials can be a spectacular deal. $4 Sakebombs when I came. This is a perfect place to bring a small group of friends, a date, or even just come solo and talk to the bartender.

Love this local spot for a drink and a catch up. Service was quick although it was super crowded, and they have a few games to play at your table. Great variety of beers and ciders. I love the mellow vibe and how it's a little tucked away. I'll definitely be back.

This is a great little spot tucked away on 16th and Tomato Alley. There's parking out in front and on the side streets. The menu includes bar food, beer, wine, and saki, but not hard alcohol. I stopped in for a late night beer and ordered some roasted pork belly bao along with it. The beer was cold and the bao really hit the spot. They included a good sized piece of pork topped with scallions, sriracha sauce, and hoisin sauce on a soft steamed bun. The bartenders were a couple friendly guys who seemed to enjoy playing music and chatting with the customers. The food and drink were good but they really made my visit memorable. It's a great spot to hang with some friends and enjoy a brew. The crowd is chill, there's plenty of seating, and you can hear people talk over the music.
